All the previous seasons were great. S1 still tops all but I’m glad to have the Minami clan back!
At about 10:36 your TL completely misunderstood the subject of the sentence.
Chiaki says: “Futari no koto sanzan mushi shiteta kara ne~”
This is talking about chiaki, as in, she was just ingoring the girls in the previous scene.
The couple next sentences are also about chiaki, but are translated as if she were talking about the girls.
Just thouoght I’d say it in case you felt like fixing it on the BDs or something…
The first season was indeed the best. Those bible black faces…

@Enamelthyst Oh, guess you’d have to ask Kusion. He probably just had it lying around because the songs were timed to Z-R originally, but usually it’s just done with workraws encoded in-house (and Himado if those aren’t available yet).

Plot-wise, You won’t be losing too much, since this is a comedy show that don’t have constant changes in the setting and is mostly episodic, but still there is evolution in the plot.
You would like to see certain things, like why the boy started to cross-dressing, how Kana is completely oblivious about how the blond guy (Fukuoka, was it) likes her, etc.
My personal recommendation is for you to watch it, if you marathon, in a week you can finish.
I downloaded the first series (again) these days to watch and is hilarious. I can’t forget Kana’s complaining to Chiaki of what an imouto should be, in the very first episode, and being crushed instantly by her imouto.
Also, the “delinquent” boy that don’t know how to act in normal situations, since Chiaki try to scare him with barks(!) he think it would be courtesy to correspond, but his barking is badass and scare the hell out of her.
γ«γγ: It’d be better to watch at least the 1st season before this one. The 1st is the best, anyway.

Also, this episode was everything I expected it to be and more! Though the way y’all translated some lines was a little weird, specifically when introducing the three characters (like not having enough time to read the subs, or exaggerating the part about the kotatsu).
