What an episode to conclude what has been an incredible ride through the first half of Fate/Zero! It was pretty nasty of the studio to choose to end the first season where they did, but I guess that makes the wait for the second season all the more painful worthwhile. We’ll of course be doing the second season and the BDs!
And where would the post for a final episode be without a staff curtain call? Here are the folks who’ve been bringing you your weekly dose of Fate/Zero!

[spoiler]I’m a giant TypeMoon fag and absolutely loved the original Fate/Zero novels, so when news came out that ufotable would be animating it, it felt like Christmas had come early (double entendre unintended). And for the most part, it was everything I could hope for in a good adaptation: they faithfully stuck to the novels (except for episode 10, but LOLI RIN HNNNNGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH), and the animation was incredible (except for episode 11, but oh well). Cue in the awesome soundtrack and the voice acting and the plot and everything else I might’ve forgotten, and I think it’s safe to say this is one of the best series I’ve watched in a LONG time.
Aniplex licensing simulcast rights didn’t douse our desire to work on this series and present it to all of you, and I’m glad we stuck to it (aren’t you?). This wasn’t exactly the easiest series to work on, and with just two people handling it all you’d think it’d be a recipe for delays and disaster, but it all somehow worked out in the end every week. It’s been one hell of a ride and I look forward to seeing you all again for more awesome in April. Thank you, and thank you again for sticking with us![/spoiler]

[spoiler]So, this marks the midpoint of the story and seeing everything animated so far, with such great detail and almost no expense spared (especially for a TV show), has really blown my mind. The dialogue moved me at times, and for the most part it really made me feel for the characters and their personalities, and their goals. I had high expectations from UFOTable, but so far, what I’ve seen has left those expectations so far behind, I don’t know what to say, other than EPIC.
I had a blast so far working with Raze on this series, and am really looking forward to doing it again, come April. It’s just been the two of us working on this project for the majority of the first season, so things haven’t been as fast as people would have liked, but in my humble opinion, for two people to get each episode out each week without too many delays, and never longer than 12-13hrs after airing, for a show which can be so difficult at times, was a pretty good job well done. I really hope you guys enjoy the episodes so far as much as I have, and onwards to next season![/spoiler]
Kusion timed the first couple episodes, before ar and I decided to just do it ourselves.
And that’s it for the Fall 2011 season! I’ll announce our Winter 2012 plans within the week, although it should be pretty darn obvious what shows we’ll be doing.

So many weeks full of impatience and nerve-racking vacant days – I just waited for the Sundays (at least in Germany), where you released this damn splendid Fate/Zero episodes. Judging by how the series is going…
Fate scenario went with anime tv series…
Unlimited Blade Works gone with a movie…
An two volume OVA was already created before the UBW movie…
All that’s left would be a Hentai release if NASU wants to cover everything for an anime adaptation…
Of course, these are only my opinions… 😀
Old releases like four or even six or more volumes per series with chara development and even limited to two… or even one ero scene in one volume…
I believe that there was this title that is somewhat story/plot focused and only have one ero~scene by the end of the 30 minute ep. who’s title name I can’t recall… 🙁

@Xectz well ther are only two eroscenes in total in heavens feel, and considering how heavens fel ha sabout twice a smuch material as the other routes, a sx-episode release woudltn feel much different from a 3 episode release anyways.. and oyud still have to make up many new eroscenes…

So fucking Epic… Fate/Zero really just blew me away…. The wait for the second season will be hard but at least we have the Blu-rays a month before so the wait wont be as harsh 😀

I know I’m like really late in d/l’ing this but I didn’t need the EP until now… I like to savor my episodes of one of the greatest series ever!
but much to my dismay, the DDL links were both errors for the MKV version, and I can’t torrent the episodes because my connection at school and at home both disallow P2P transfers, will the file be re-uploaded soon?
There is an overly strict border set surrounding the logo.
I recall last time i saw something like this was with CMS’ TWGOK II, but i think it was reverse and their subs had to be scaled up a notch. It horribly cropped the text from both ends. Same happens to the your title if scaled up, but it goes up+right apparently.
I scale subs and videos up and/or down frequently. Commonly it only slightly breaks the positioning, but even that happens less often and with less severe consequences than one might expect.
Text boxes with opaque bgs measured strictly to match an element in video may look a bit off obviously, but they aren’t used THAT often anyway.
tl;dr you still have a scale-unfriendly element in your subs, but other parts of the subs are fine as far as i know/remember.
This includes 11 uncut and the v2s which aren’t even properly tagged as v2, they simply have a different CRC. What’s up with that?
