I have 3 questions. It would be great if someone wouldn’t mind answering them.
1. How does this whole ordered chapters thing work? I mean, I renamed both the OP and the Episode files, yet it still works. Does my Codec look for a file with the correct Hashsum or something? Wouldn’t that hog a lot of CPU/HDD resources, if there were lots of files in the same directory?
2. I noticed, that none of the files that are released in 10bit have thumbnails (Fate Zero and C3. I use the DivX codec to generate thumbnails, since no other codec seem to work for me, btw.)
Is it because of the 10bit, or is there another reason altogether?
3. What’s the deal with 10bit anyway? What exactly does “10bit” stand for? I don’t suppose it means that the vid is encoded with a 10bit colourspace or a 10bit audio sample, is it?
Also, why are videos in 10bit when processors work in 64bit?
Yes, you probably guessed it: I’m a total noob in this field.

2. thumbnails? windows is doing those afaik. I guess it uses whatever vfw decoder it prefers (no 10bit)

Seriously I have watched Higurashi no Naku Koro ni a dozen of times and Shiki, Shiki was really gross sometimes. BTW even the cheerful style switching to a bloodbath and back again reminded me of Higurashi even in ep 2.
Of course,be it anything near Shiki I could consider this caution, but I would still watch

i wodner how this will play out. as thigns stand now, well need some reinforcements for the antagonist sicne fear alone is pretty overpowered, and given muramasa hasnt been unsheathed yet, maybe it holds some more power too. that being said, if her curse is healed then she’s actually pretty much the only uncursed muramasa in anime…
I kind of wonder why a Japanese word was changed for Chinese. The word 気 was used. That is “ki”. I think most people know what a person’s ki is. Instead they changed it to the Chinese word, “chi”.

I didn’t really say tv-style static, it was not present from what I’ve got, but usually in animes with high level of blood and/or violence they put a text on screem saying “don’t do it kiddies”, I remember every fuck episode of kore wa zombie desu ka they put a text on screen saying “don’t do the same things that this guy do, he’s a zombie, lol” or some fuck like that.
