  1. Thanks guys! I just join at the beginning of apocrypha, But i can say i love your work and im here any other releases you guys will come out with.

  2. I don’t know why but when I watched Jeanne vs Atalanta, I thought about Naruto (6 tails) vs Pain. Of course it is more beautiful than Naruto but the animation seems a little similar.

  3. Even though the animation is not as good as ufotable, the fights in Fate/Apocrypha are longer and better than the one from Fate/stay night UBW. Karna vs sieg fight was so amazing. If the animation were like ufotable, it would have been one of the best action show out there
Fate/stay nigh UBW was overrated in my opinion. Apocrypha has been the best fate anime to me after fate/zero

  4. According to the internet, this is the best animated episode in the history of anime ever. People can’t shut up about it.
    Thanks for the episode,btw.

  5. too bad they never took any time to build the characters. It’s a great scene until you ask yourself why you care. To me it was nothing but rushing to kill the servants. You know its coming to an end. So this is how it ends.

  6. Is it just me or it looks like they kindda jumped some fights into this episode? I didn’t see the airplane crashing or anything like that for the guy with eyeglasses appear. Neither Sig to transform back into human. What happened between episode 21 to 22? There’s a gap!

  7. thankyou very much good sir for your hardwork
all fate anime is my favorited! I love them all. it make me want to get more waifu servant in FGO. lol

  8. they really should’ve given APO a break like with UBW because the animation is just so horrendous now, the fight scenes were already a bit awkward a few episodes back

  9. I think a lot of people are missing the fact that the animation is way way better this episode (lotsa keyframes), but to make up for all that motion they sacrificed details. (Example: entire redraw of the face for mouth movements rather than lipflaps, people constantly shifting rather than panning the camera or shifting the character etc.) all those extra frames take time, if you forced them all to be the same quality as close up shots it’d be way way over time and budget for a weekly anime.

  10. So many saying the animation is bad, i truly hope they are trolling. I never expected A-1 to reach such a level of animation quality, the Karna/Sieg fight is absolutely mind blowing. If you think this is bad you’re either very ignorant on how the animation process works or just blind.

  11. This is way, way better than either Zero, UBW or anything else done for Fate. I wouldn’t trade just this one episode for the whole series of Zero.

  12. >mfw it’s 2017 and people still defend a sudden drop in quality (reason: abysmal BD sales) with conceited commentary

  13. there’s SOME quality redemption in ep23
as for this lousy ass quality, you should realize that when shots of dramatic dialogue are overlayed on background scenes or the long shots of characters not to mention the BACK of their heads, only 2 things come to mind
1 – drawing detailed/moving faces take up too much time
2 – no moving faces/mouths mean less time/effort to dub
as for the “over stylized” fight scene, give me a break, a bunch of bright flashing colors and random line drawings is just a big cop out on filling “action” for content, not to mention the disregard for scale, like after all of those DBZ nuke scale explosions, is the flying garden even left? pretty sure more than 1/2 of it got vapped during Siegs fight with lancer.

  14. If you want to lose more faith in humanity, just go to comment section i guess… so many pretentious fucks here that cant appreciate shit… *sigh*….

  15. Lol, this thread is surprisingly littered with people with A) shit taste; B) no artistic comprehension; or C) all of the above.
‘Cause the fact is, objectively, this was an excellent animated episode. Top tier sakuga.

  16. I’m glad these people ultimately don’t matter, imagine these ignorant fucks actually having a say when reviewing an anime lmao
So just keep rambling here about your shit taste, in the end your ignorant opinion is shit, like yourself.

  17. Haha great credability from some lowlife that calls others faggots, go back to fake newsville, yeah l dig this “artistic style” l believe it’s called “gotta make deadlines” and alot of it is noticeable by using the “cutting corners” technique

  18. As i said, your opinion is as worthless as you. You are clearly ignorant if you think they rushed the animation because of deadlines. Next time you’ll probably say Trigger animation is crap, right? A-1 Pictures doesn’t really excel in animation, this time they did a good job and saying otherwise just shows how stupid you are. Go suck some balls faggot.

  19. I’ve seen past works by A1 hence l KNOW they can do BETTER, you WISH you can bend low enough to blow yourself since that’s where your set bar is at, stuck up your ass

  20. I’ll just leave this there:
    https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2017-12-12/fans-creators-applaud-animation-of-fate-apocrypha-22nd-episode/.125138
“Fans, Creators Applaud Animation of Fate/Apocrypha’s 22nd Episode”
“Fate/stay night creator Kinoko Nasu attended a private showing for the episode. He said on his blog, “I saw something amazing and wonderful. It can only be described as a masterpiece.” He said he felt the animation would even stand up to appearing on a 200-inch screen.”

  21. So the animation was praised by pros and it’s the most amazing thing in the world, sure, I get that. But what’s the point in having the most amazing animation ever, if what you are animating are a bunch of shitty poorly drawn frames that don’t fit with the style of the rest of the anime? Great animation sure, but at what cost?

  22. @Learn to appreciate animation boys
My issues with Nasus praising are he’s a writer, not a director nor an animator and he says this will “stand up” on a 200 inch screen? HELL NO, yeah l invite anyone and everyone to watch this episode on a 200 inch and see what happens. Also “how do you get that frame rate for the whole episode”, OMG WTF man seriously? There’s something called quality vs quantity? you want to animate a simple 5 minute sketch into 60 FPS using in-between frames with minor alterations that only take a few seconds to redraw, it’s DOABLE. Also all of those flashing color screens take up a good chunk of the frame rate so you think the animation is smooth when in reality the flashing screens are not only doubling as in between frames but is also (and this is the KEY part) visually stimulating your sensors so THAT’S what making you all go “WOOOW”.
But hey if that’s what you’re into then fine l have nothing else to say.

  23. Dunno man, we’re all just waiting for the 23 so we’re here rambling nonsense.
BTW if Nasu says the animation is good, then the animation is good. You’re like a flea compared to him.

  24. just a PSA from a “flea”, if you want to believe that he says this will look good on a 200 inch, you better have someone ready to call the hospital the moment your carcass drops from a seizure
just a little tidbit from audio visual basics, “what works on television, won’t necessarily work on the big screen”, people who watched Blair Witch project in the theaters should know VERY well what I’m talking about

  25. 10:24: “I’m ruin what I hold dear.”
pretty sure that’s not what it’s supposed to say… Probably something more like “I ruin what I hold dear.”
