That loli show sure takes a lot of hdd space just for a 720p vid in Hi10p. (since it’s BS11 transport stream, I’m guessing that one ep was ~4gb, right?)
Yes, episode 5 is awesome but episode 6 should be even more epic if it planning out like its manga counterpart.

Just a question: Why does Saber Alter always wear an eye cover the first time she appears? She also has that on the VN, right? I dont remember any explanation why she has that.
So thhat Caster’s Massive Ion Cannon makes the file become oversized huh ? I can’t imagine how much the file size for Saber Alter’s Black Excalibur give.

Stop complaining about the filesize, and learn the definition of the word bloated. Bloated implies it’s needlessly oversized when it isn’t. And if you think you can do a better job at encoding than UTW, go download a RAW or something, and come back and show Raze that you can match his groups quality at a lower file size.

It is not the Ion cannon strike that bloats it. It’s all the detail in the magic circles (hundreds of them), spreadshots (insert contra music), shielding strikes, macross missile lasers, and all the combat with the background of said magic circles.
Apparently they blew the budget on episode 4 and episode 5 is just very stretched out. 5’s prolouge is just the last few minutes of 4.
At least they fixed IMASINE NOW!

The filesize is much too large, so instead of waiting half an hour longer than usual to download it I’m going to go with an inferior group with inferior translations slapped onto an inferior encode.

But yeah bloat jokes are kinda in bad taste nowadays. They were sorta funny once, but are just silly now. Everybody has kinda gotten sick of people complaining about stuff like size, and then cracking bloat jokes. You can blame the people who thought it was funny, and then ruined it for everybody else!
Question here: In episode 4 at 18:32, Luvia tells Miyu that they are leaving, since they have collected the card already. Was that a mistranslation? Because I’ve read the manga and in the translation Luvia ordered Miyu to retrieve the card and then leave. That kinda made more sense to me, since they (obviously) hadn’t collected the card yet and Caster was at that time still alive, after all.
I don’t speak or understand Japanese, that’s why I’m asking.
