Mentar encodes using 2-pass and the same bitrate for every show he does, which is ~1790kbps or somewhere there abouts. I don’t have the time to encode this show using 2-pass at a set bitrate since doing 1-pass CRF takes me ~3hrs as is (due to the extensive filtering chain I have in my avs scripts). I encode using CRF 17.5 or 18, depends on the episode. Check the quality for yourself with Eclipses. Sometimes Size != Quality. I could throw more bitrate at it, but the end result will be the same. The show lacks detail so the extra bitrate is simply unnecessary.
