We promised you faster, and this week, we actually deliver! Thanks to proper alignment of various cosmic bodies and efficient utilization of the jet stream, we managed to reduce downtime by 180%! Thanks, GEICO!
Forewarning: Fans of iM@S, the insert song is not what you think it is. That is all.
P.S.:: Due to a lot of feedback, the fancy karaoke effects have been removed in the second subtitle track in favor of a simpler style. So if you were having lag issues with the OP/ED, give the second track a try!

Thanks for posting the second track without the subtitle effects. Karaoke is old fashioned, anyway.

    Thanks UTW!~

Thanks! Well, I hope this won’t lag me. My PC lags when 2 or more subtitles are shown at the same time.

  9. Thanks for fixing the karaoke issues. Is there going to be a v2 patch for episode two?

  10. Does this mean we get to choose usual UTW style or lagless experience? Or the second track is “normal” this time?

    Huzzah. Karaoke is terrible, anyway.

  14. Please don’t drop this because of CR’s streaming option beginning next week. I love my UTW releases ^^

  15. P.S. Hamuzou agrees.

looks liek a IBN5100 will come in handy if this release happens to be lag-ridden again. better call suzuha.

    also, please dont drop this.
    PS.

  18. Why should I have to switch sub tracks to deal with your terrible lag causing issues? I have a more than capable computer and have never had a single issue before. Fix your shit UTW.

I don’t understand why there are so many ppl who were having trouble with the karaoke. Hell, the video plays smoothly on my 3 years-old bottomgrade laptop without no lag at all. (Although I have to admit that the karaoke effect is a little bit too flashy, IMHO).
ps: I used the beta version of CCCP.

  22. Lead on July 22, 2011 at 5:25 pm said:

To be honest, I’d like it better if it’s just english translation of the song, there’s no need for the romaji

  23. I just noticed but…they call 765 production “Namco Pro” ?

Wait so how do you switch to the second subtitle track?
    *Total noob* T_T

  25. Cider on July 22, 2011 at 6:39 pm said:

Well, I don’t recall having any lag issues with the karaoke, and there were none for me now either (using MPlayer on a mac), but the text wasn’t spaced properly for some reason, with the individual characters overlapping. No issues with the second track for that. I also noticed that the regular subtitles were decreased in size, which I appreciate. Perfectly good size now.

  26. Cider on July 22, 2011 at 7:01 pm said:

P.S. It seems that the Ed’s karaoke’s effects are completely fine for me, with no text overlap.

Cider: Interesting how you mention the main dialogue font size, considering that it’s completely identical to the previous two episodes. Maybe you’ve just gotten used to it ( Β΄?`)?

I know that in Japanese, they use the word “live” when referring to a performance on stage, but in English, that’s actually called a “show” or a “concert.” No English speaker would ever call it a “live.”
I understand that many Japanese terms are difficult to find an English equivalent for, but this really should not have been one of them.

krk is nice, but better hardsub it. Else, 2nd track is nice too.
I really like your new typesetting. Look neat. Thanks for your hard work.
Ah, the insert song, you are awesome! (i wonder how many ppl can guess that EngRish pun) Nice job.

  31. >hardsub anything at all
    Nope, nope, nope and nope.

It still means 7 6 5 so who cares. Puns are just puns.

  35. Miki = best character in the series by far. Dem nap faces are hilarious.

  36. Pff, I prefer Azusa πŸ™‚ Although the “all the old people go for Azusa” situations are getting … old. But then, I am an old fart, too lol

  37. Radak on July 26, 2011 at 1:13 am said:

And Iori is my personal favourite but that might be because I am a fan of Rie Kugimiya.
However I really wonder why the Subs lag so badly. I have a i7 950 and 12GB RAM (yes I do need that much RAM sometimes don’t ask). Using the latest CCCP and Media player clasic and it still lags (also tried Zoom player but same problem).
At least we have a second option now but I still wonder why it lags.

  38. Modhesh on July 26, 2011 at 5:12 am said:

Sir, If you don’t mind, can you include a track which there’s no karaoke at all for the insert song. πŸ˜€

  39. Fujiri on July 27, 2011 at 8:03 pm said:

Does somebody else hear in the OP β€œAre you ready? I’m a lady!” too?

  40. It’s engrish, deal with it.

@Radak: Great hardware, but you are running 32-bit codecs in a 32-bit player on a 64-bit OS so you’re not really getting the full capabilities of your hardware. MPC-HC has a 64-bit version, but CCCP is avowedly 32-bit.

I do believe all of the ideas you have offered for your post. They’re very convincing and can certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are very brief for starters. May you please extend them a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
