Not sure if I’m thinking too much about this, but Mio is completely absent from the final scene, when nearly everyone else was there to witness the sisters reconcile. Riki even tried calling her but couldn’t get through to her.
…so does Japan not have any sort of child protection agency? How the fuck does a family get away with shit like that?

Oh boy, that was quite good. I wasn’t too impressed with her character in the beginning, but there was some real development there, and I got more emotional than I thought I would. I got a little confused at the end as to what exactly were the circumstances/motivations in that final revelation, though…hopefully the VN explains it a bit more clearly once I finally get around to it.
