   @Samdidliambo “Sausage Rolls”, Luviagelita Edelfelt, comes from Hollow Ataraxia. Rin met her at Mages’ Association Clock Tower. They have very similar magic, similar personalities, and her family lost in the Third Grail War to a Tohsaka. They’re the perfect rivals.

    I was wondering though, if anyone else had problems playing back the 720p release of ep. 3 with Windows Media Player? For me this episode constantly crashes at 6:07 in WMP (rewinding even a second after will ensure normal playback until the end, but if I avoid rewinding, it always crashes at 6:07). VLC seems to play it normally, but I do notice a flicker in the “Class 5-1” text at 6:07. I’ve had no problems with all other UTW releases for this and other anime, so I was wondering if this was a known problem and if so, is there any chance for a patch or a v2 for episode 3 720p?
    Whatever the case, I’m looking forward to your future releases (which I hope will include the new ufotable FSN, whenever that starts). Keep up the great work! 🙂

    @igyman UTW recommends MPC with CCCP and I can confirm this problem doesn’t occur with that. Interestingly I did get the flicker on VLC so I wonder what’s causing it.

    Miyu is not a “dreamless girl” as in without dreams. She is an “undreaming girl” as in: to dismiss from the imagination as though never dreamed—Wiktionary. “Unimaginative tween” may also work. Horriblesubs/Crunchyroll? (HS) repeats this nuance error.
    The lift coefficient for winged ascent in the equation you displayed should be “C[subscript]L”, not “Cl,” i.e. the L should be lower than the font baseline to indicate a single term. HS flubs this worse. It’d be clearer if I could use HTML tags. Anyway, it sounds like Miyu is postulating invisible mana aerofoils to explain mahou shouju aeronautics.
    Miyu is not virtual rock climbing or the like, so substitute “steppingstones” or “steps” for “footholds” in “solidify mana”…”as footholds.” HS repeats this error.
    I’ve noticed that Miyu is liberally voicing contractions in this episode. Is her “stiff mind” beginning to flex, I wonder? Well, I’ve finally decided to stick with F/KLPI, sans unsolicited (belated) QC. This show makes a good counterpoise to Watamote. Now, is this better as inoculation or as antivenin? 😛
