You guys f**king rock, doing this in such a short amount of time… I just can’t thank you enough, you made my year….speaking as a huge Gintama fan (going on my 4th run of the 265 episodes, specials and the 1st movie..lost count of the times I have watched the Four Devas, Owee, Yoshiwara in Flames, Red Spider and Renho arcs), keep it up and I hope you have a great 2014.

  38. @boingman nooooooo, you really REALLY need to get to know the characters before you dive into this, there are 265 episodes of pure bliss awaiting you (i’m kinda jealous…wish I could experience it all for the first time once again), I mean you don’t necessarily need to watch all 265 eps to enjoy this movie to its fullest, but you should at least get acquainted with the characters.

  41. @boingman mmm, you really need to get into the origins of the yorozuya and all that surrounds edo and its history to really get this movie,but believe me you are in for a real treat, Gintama is one of the few shows and probably the best at transitions between comedy/parody, drama and action, you’ll find yourself laughing, felling mad, somewhat crushed, happy, sad…all in just one episode. I’m biased because I love Gintama to death, but give it a try…here’s a nice torrent with all 265 plus specials

  45. @boingman Shinsen, dunno, maybe they’re still out there somewhere each one doing their thing, 25 upwards you have rumbel (best subs ever..imo).
    Give it shot, pretty sure you won’t regret it, I wasn’t that much into anime apart from the stuff like one piece,cowboy bebop, naruto, trigun, and kinda discovered Gintama by chance and after that came Natsume, Claymore (craaiiiiire), Beelzebub, Ergo Proxy, Hellsing Ultimate, Elfen Lied (Heaaavy), Death Note, Last Exile, Fate/Zero, GTO…so yeah, thanks Gintama for cracking open the gates.

  69. Is anyone else having an issue with the standard def version? The pixels are lagging and it makes it rather unwatchable having both the images and the subtitles blurred out by large pixels that haven’t changed.
