Well, that was pretty underwhelming coming off the incredibly climatic last episode. They should’ve made a Teacher arc, Hibiki arc, Kanae arc, or something instead.
As is customary whenever we complete a TV series, here’s the staff list for the project:

The show airing during the week made this quite the weekly time challenge, as I had to wake up in the middle of the night (3am, to be exact) and bust out the entire script half-awake within 4 hours (meaning translation times consistently within the 90-120 minute range) before leaving for work. As such, I’m extremely grateful to the team for being reliable and professional in their work for this project, which has saved me lots of precious time and was integral in maintaining the quality level of the subs. Thanks, guys!
The batch will probably happen over the Easter week or something, hopefully. I will also announce our next season plans sometime next week once they have been finalized.

We’ll definitely do the extras but we aren’t too sure about the BD versions of the episodes at this point in time, mostly because I won’t have time to work on both those and Nisemonogatari concurrently.

Thanks so much for translating this series. I have followed this series from the time you guys did the first one but I appreciate all the efforts you took to bring this series to the English-speaking community. Because of this series, I got motivated to do some work on hacking the game to be playable with translations. As a result, this was what I was able to come up with along with a few other people.

Lol. So, that was essentially the “failure arc?” Well… depending on how much of the steam and ripples in the water &c were censorship… this could be the best episode when the BD version comes out… though I’m not going to cross my fingers.

I found it extremely amusing when Risa and Keiko ran into each other and just stared at each other silently, especially considering they share the same seiyuu.
It was a very nice farewell episode. We got to see all the girls again one last time. T_T
Tsukasa and Kaoru were hilarious. Those two have always been the most down to earth of all the girls. :3
Ya, but a Miya episode isn’t bad too. It’s when we get to see Junichi in his “normal” form.
This season of Amagami was awesome, IMO. I still liked how tasteful any fanservice was done. Can’t wait to see what the Blu-Rays have to offer.
Glad to see the return of Jessica, but I feel like this should have been a bonus episode on the BD’s or something. Just seems wrong to officially end the series with an episode like this instead of the awesome Haruka arc conclusion. I think I’ll just train my mind to think of that as the real ending and this episode as just a bonus ep.

@Kitty (2012-03-31-1957): “Sulphur” is a Commonwealth English spelling of “sulfur”.
While IUPAC and the Royal Society of Chemistry have adopted the use of “F” spellings as standard, the older “PH” spelling remains understandable and interchangeable, and is commonly seen in areas such as Canada and the Philippines.
As always, great subbing, UTW. Pity the Amagami series ending on such a disappointing note, but overall, SS+ was rather tastefully produced. Nothing terribly exceptional, but nothing terribly rushed or anything. What might your plans be next season? Little Busters (that new Key anime)?

I just finished watching all of Amagami SS+. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for your greats subs UTW, and congrats on another completed series!
I just wanted to mention a couple things that caught my attention while watching:
episode 3
16:17 – “I guess that makes use rhinoceros beetles” – “use” should be “us”. This was mentioned before, but I figured I’d bring it up in case it was missed.
24:09 – wind chimes vs wind bell – The dialog subs don’t match next episode title. Also, in the episode 4 title wind chimes is used.
This was also mentioned before, but in episode 5 during the next episode preview the title is “Strife” while in episode 6 the title is “Escape”.

There is a mistake at around 07:16 in episode 1.
One of the names should have been Kisato Romio and not “Juri Romi”.
One kanji from that scene is out of view; the whole name is visible at around 11:33.
