Summer 2011 Plans
We are doing:
1) The iDOLM@STER (three-way joint with Underwater and a guest translator)
2) Kamisama no Memochou
3) Kamisama Dolls (using CR’s translation)
That will be all.
EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention we’ll be doing Appleseed XIII on the side too.
UPDATE (July 12th): We no longer feel that Kamisama Dolls need us (with HorribleSubs and other groups releasing 720p rips using CR subs), so we won’t be doing the show. Sorry if we got your hopes up.

Why Kamisama Dolls?
I could understand if it was lacking a 480p like Gosick was, but will people really wait for a tweaked script? UTW aren’t the fastest group, so unless this is going to be lightning fast compared to your usual ones I can’t see it working.

Is 8thSin the one who will be doing the translation for KamiMemo? He did say he would continue translating KamiMemo after gg dropped it, but with another group. Could it be that he was referring to UTW?

are you doing the first episode of Kamisama no Memochou? i ask because of the pre screening. So are you using the pre-screening or are you going to wait till this week release to do it? or just going to jump in at the 2nd episode?
Kamisama no Memochou is kind of oversubbed at this point. I’ve already seen Episode 1 by EveTaku. Still, I’ll probably choose UTW’s subs in future just because I’m most confident in your quality.

Thanks for picking up Kamisama Dolls. Even if you're using the CR scripts, I'd still rather get a quality encode and a script that's been checked by people and not robots.

I was really hoping UTW would release “Ikoku Meiro no Croisee” since I find it to be really good and I think it suits the UTW style. Too bad it isn’t that way. Maybe you guys could give it some thought?
On the other hand, now I know what version of “Kamisama no Memochou” I’ll be getting. Thanks for the good news on that!
@D_P : Even two quality groups doing one show is a waste. EveTaku’s version is perfectly fine, UTW will probably be better. EveTaku then becomes obsolete and the efficiency of the situation is halved.

I saw EveTaku’s version and it was very good. Maybe I will stick with them and give them a chance since they are new. I will watch The iDOLM@STER from you guys and Doki’s Kamisama Dolls, and if it starts to get slow (the show itself), i will probably watch horribles.
Like someone else already mentioned, I would have loved it of you guys did Baka to Test 2. Anyways, thanks for picking up The iDOLM@STER. Can’t wait to see your release!

I don’t think you should have done Kamisama no Memochou. I love you guys, but I think that show already has good subs (EveTaku). You should have picked something else like perhaps Penguin Drum.
Of course, if you don’t care about that and are just picking whatever the fuck you want, then I guess I’m okay with that.

@Derp Memochou is being subbed by EveTaku as well, so UTW isn’t the only group subbing, despite gg dropping it.

Same here. I guess for this first episode I’ll wait for the UTW release, though I am not too sure what to make of the fact that a “guest translator” is working on it instead of one of the “usual” translators.
It just means the primary translator is a guest, doesn’t mean quality will suffer. Raze is still tlc’ing, so all is as usual.
I thought, given your past shows you’ve done, that you’d be doing Dantalian no Shoka as well.

I’ll be switching to Horrible for speed and Chihiro for rewatch/archive on Kamisama Dolls show. You guys are my favorites for your two current projects, IDolmaster and Kami`memo.
