Who ever made the v2 patch left Header Compression enabled that’s why.
Edit: err actually Raze didn’t disable it for the v2.
The easy way to fix is:
Open the mkv with mkvmergegui, then for each track in extra options tab, set Compression = None, and remux. That should give you a compatible mkv for your WDTV.

Hmm, I downloaded the patch, put the unzipped files in the same folder with the completed download, but it doesn’t work. The .bat runs and says ‘Input file does not exist.’

@12:30 You had Stiyl say “four-three-three-six” (which is exactly what he said) but I’m pretty sure he was trying to say 4336. As in “four thousand three hundred and thirty-six” cards were used, which makes a hell of a lot more sense.

They REALLY need to come up with some way to five him a decent offense. The whole “defend yourself then super-punch” is getting old. It actually made sense in some s1 fights, since a ‘low-tech’ attack was so unexpected and unusual for the people he was facing… but cmon. In the very least he should be lugging around a baseball bat, or learning taichi or something.

Why not? Stiyl goes on to say how he got all of the Amakusa to place shit loads of cards around the place and it’s a big place so 4336 of those small cards isn’t far-fetched at all. I’m just saying it makes a hell of a lot more sense contextually.

The patch only updates version 1 (77430B2C) to version 2 (8AAA6E54); unless you were one of the few early downloaders, you won’t need it.

720p file wont play in SMPlayer, will play in windows media player, and i have no problem playing ep 1-4, just ep 5 wont play

Protip: Touma always looks like a badass when the story is told from another person’s perspective. Always.
If I punch the staff, It will be bruised before cancelling the effect thus making an attack which I can’t possibly see. If I have been hit by another one of those attack, I will be taken down or worse… have index bite me all over my body. Stiyl will kill me if I hug that Loli because Loli is banned in their country and considered as a crime. If I could I WOULD, you know?

For some reason this episode doesn’t have a thumbnail image for me. I’ve downloaded it a few times and it’s always the same. Is there any reason for this? Can I fix it? I have all the other episodes of Index from UTW and all of their .mkv files show the thumbnails just fine.
