agreeing with moonspeaker and also to be more specific about it Steins;Gate is a sequel to Chaos;Head set a year or so after it but with no real relevance to Chaos;Head that I know of (yet).
Well, this is a pleasant surprise but I’ll wait for the higher quality version as it deserves no less. It is not a sequel to Chaos;Head, merely related as the games were both joint projects between Nitro+ and 5pb and contain much of the same production staff.

Amai amai young one, Steins;Gate is set in the same universe as Chaos;Head just one year later and with different main characters but some references to Chaos;Head are apparently plot points of some importance thus making it… a “Sequel”

Loved the VN!!! I waited too long for the anime, thank god you guys did the webcast! I’m guessing we’ll have to wait a little to have the actual one after it airs on tuesday, since you’ll have to work on songs and such… But it’s worth it!

Hohh boy I’ve read the VN up to chapter 6 (of 12 total chapters). So far it’s been a glorious ride and shit got REAL at the end of chapter 5. I’ve read my fair share of VNs (Ever17, Sharin, G-Senjou, Inganock, Chaos;Head, Cross Channel, etc.), and so far it’s easily becoming one of my favorites. Maybe it’s because it’s my first VN in Japanese, but I love the writing. The plot is captivating and the characters, especially Okabe, are downright awesome. In an age where anime/VN main characters are completely shallow and one dimensional, here’s one that’s brimming with personality. Name any other chuunibyou main character out there. There isn’t is there?
All in all just want to say thanks for subbing this, and I’m really looking forward to it

the AHQ dvd rips are easy to get and they use official subs and have dual audio
the KAA dvd rips are not so easy to get (it’s not on their tracker but the episodes are available in other places) and they use Keep-ANBU and Spoon scripts. The release is single audio.
i found the two using google in 2 min, so it can’t be that hard.
I don’t understand all this hate for CR. Where are the examples of all this alleged crappiness?
Certainly UTW can do a good translation, but there are also plenty of fansubbers that churn out fast crap all the time (and I’m not talking “OMG-a-typo” level of crap either) yet they don’t seem to be getting the same amount of hate spam as CR, which as far as I can tell consistently delivers perfectly adequate translations.

Why people hate crunchyroll?
Their translation is too localized and their encode suck.
I think that it’s pointless to hate fansubs that do ‘crappy jobs’ because even if they suck they do it for free, crunchyroll is getting money with this so they are suposed to do a god job. If they are not going to do a god job then it’s good to have fansubs doing a god job because this way they will have to do a better job if they want people to use their service.
By the way, the day crunchyroll start doing a god job I’ll gladly use their service, until then I’ll gladly download fansubs or horriblesubs and openly state that crunchyroll suck.
if there’s a choice, i’d rather stick with you guys than HS. their video quality suck balls and have to dl the blu ray at the end. which is a waste of time.

Don’t you just love all the retarded reasons people come up with? A fansub is about translation not karoake/styling/etc. In that regard, one good translation is better than having 3-4 decent/sub-par ones. There will always be millions of others who restyle/do whatever you think “fansubbing” is. Stop bitching and get ones of those.
