    @oqs: look in the comments for Accel World Ep. 4. Near the end, he mentions his normal computer is giving him trouble, so he’s on a second computer and it will take abit longer. That in combination with my assumption he actually wanted sleep (since this was out between 3:30-4:30 EST). I imagine it will be up by roughly 10-11 EST at the latest (fingers crossed).

    You should enable subtitles in MPC-HC, or better yet:
    Download and install xy-vsfilter, and set “DirecVobSub (auto-loading version)” as preferred filter under “External Filters” and make sure that “Playback -> Auto-load subtitles” is DISabled.
    But if you’re okay with subtitles being slow during animation (mostly Karaoke), then simply make sure that “Playback -> Auto-load subtitles” is ENabled.
    MPC-HC’s subtitle renderer is extremely slow, however. Besides, who’d like to watch unstyled static subtitles, if they could watch styled and animated subs?
