    Ah, I knew it. I just can’t like this. I hope you guys like translating it more than I like watching it, because I loved the visual novel a lot but the anime has been a disappointment with each new episode. The humor is all wrong (I laughed frequently at the VN, the anime is severely lacking in this), they make bad choices after bad choices, they lost much of the subtlety of the VN… Maybe the anime is actually good in its own right, but I just can’t enjoy it when I remember how much the VN touched me. Even if you haven’t read it, though, I think that if you compare it to the Clannad or Angel Beats anime, it’s clear that something’s missing here.

I want to convert my matroska video files with styled soft subs to mp4 while maintaining the styled subs. As much as I just want to change the container, I would lose the styled subs. I want to preserve the video and audio format with the styled subs burned to the video. I have WinFF here but I don’t know how I can do this. When I used FormatFactory, the subs were messed up: font, font size, and positioning changed. I wanna watch my anime on the HTS at home but it doesn’t support h264 in mkv containers. It only supports divx in mkv or h264 in mp4. Thanks in advance.

    @bobon721: you can use mencoder from the http://www.mplayerhq.hu package (the project originates on Unix but windows binaries are available) with the -ass option, then it will merge ass styled subs as hardsub into the video. output will be avi but I am sure you will find a way to re-container it to mp4 if necessary.

    By the looks of this they skipped Kurugaya route unless they make that as a OVA special. Since by the looks its already heading towards the RIn Arc. Honestly impossible to throw the “True End” in the last few episodes either way.
    At least its not ending up like SAO with alot of time skips

    For anyone confused they did NOT skip Kurugaya’s route. They took a bit of a scene from Rin’s Refrain route. There’s no way they’re going to complete this show by the end of this season, even so, another season for what’s left is a bit too much.

    Video Size: 848 x 480 (AR 251:80)
    Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 848×480 (45209:14400) 23.98fps [Video]
    Audio: AAC 48000Hz stereo 1536kbps [Audio]
    While it shows the size 848×480, the aspect ratio is shown as 251:80 and 45209:14400, both are clearly way out. For me, a screen capture shows an image of about 1457×480 pixels instead of 848×480.

    You should state the episode they had the Kurugaya route because Im going to still doubt they skipped the Kurugaya’s route. Only Komari(3eps), Mio(3eps), Haruka(3eps), Kud(4eps) routes have been done
    In the end they wont be able to finish this once this season is done. Better off seeing it to the end how they wrap it up rather then argue.
