    Either that, or Aria is just such derivative trash that it’s awesome… or not. I’ll still watch it though, I need my Kugimiya Rie fix, and I’m not watching Astarotte’s Toy even if the premise is a farce.
    Seriously though, the first villain was all “I watched Speed too many times!” and now we get Saber Lily with grey hair and black clothing underneath her armor instead of white.

    I know the end of each novel is the start of hte next, but novel 3 is one of the worst since th epilogue can’t be cut-off (by the way, novel 4 is the one with less plot and less scenaries, from ship to submarine and back again). It neeeds a 2nd season right after to not be too unnaturally and abruptly ending or showing script adaptation problems.

    @Rob astarotte is actually quite entertaining, if you dont mind that except for extremely symphathic characters nothing really happens. its got this feeling that goes to me like a mixture of hayate the combat butler and disgaea, just without any fights.
    @Kemm since its rei kugumiya and J.C. staff, a secodn seson is pretty inevitable or just 24 episodes

    Using the same generation size, if Durandal is the 30th generation, then Aria’s the 8th and Riko is the 7th… But if we assume that Aria and Riko are indeed both 4th generation, then Durandal couldn’t be more than the 18th generation.
    They’d have to be pretty promiscuous to keep up an average of 20 years per generation. As a reference, Isabelle Romée married at 18, and gave birth to Jeanne at 25.

    @Mithgol it wasnt even meant to be like that in the beginning; originally, shirou was supposed to be a girl and saber wouldve just been a real king arthur without genderbending. though i dont really mind it; what goes on my nerves is shirous “gahh im speaking with a girl and im a healthy young man omgomg” babbling.. i eman come on, no real guy thinks about it that way and that often!
    though absurd it isnt. i mean it does make for a pretty neat backstory, and if your flatchested enough you as a girl can slip through as a very attractive young man in medievil; the fact that she diditn age anymore after 16 sureely came in handy here. the only illogical thing about it is sabers hair lenghth; if she really wouldve fooled her comrades into her beeing a guy, it shouldnt be that long(uncombed it is really long)…
