Man, that was action-packed. More like “Baccano!” than “Gosick”… I kept expecting them to call the train “The Flying Pussyfoot.”
Also, is it just me, or did we just get an entire light novel in one episode?

Yeah, I’m pretty sure they just packed an entire novel (Gosick VI) into episode 18. lol.
The progression looks like it’ll be: GOSICK VI -> 18, VII -> 19-22 and VIII -> 23-24.

I don’t see why not, though I’m pretty sure we just used a Share raw that was available at the time. The DVDISO wasn’t available when we did the release so we had to use what we could.
The train is moving at like 60 mph. When Victorique threw the gun off the train, the gun should still be moving at close to 60 mph when it hits the ground, yet it looks as though someone had dropped it at waist-height from a stationary position.
tl:dr Physics fail with trains and inertia of objects in motion.
Other than that GREAT EPISODE! I got Baccano!-vibes as well.

Yeah we’ll be doing 720p BD releases, but since I am quite busy these days, it’ll only be every couple of months (so 4 eps at a time). I’m avoiding monthly commitments at the moment with Blu-ray stuff because I simply don’t have the free time to guarantee I can get them out every month. When I finish up with ep3&4, we’ll release 1-4 in one go. No idea on timeframe, but sometime in the next 2 weeks I imagine.
