Whether we actually end up working on the latter two shows is still subject to CR/nico/funi simulcasting.
There is another show that we’re still considering whether or not to do; if we do decide to go ahead with it, you’ll find out what it is when we release it.

From what I’ve seen so far, the other two shows are utter shit. Accel World seems particularly retarded. The main character is literally a pig, for crying out loud.

wow, the number of butthurt people is gigantic. dotn they realize that a subgroup with as little staffmembers as UTW and the speed AND quality of UTW would simply totally overwork themsleves and be plagued by quality loss and/or delays if tey did every mor eor less good or promising show this season?? i eman come on, they never ha dmroe than 3 shows at once, it should be obvious that theyre not gonna take on everything and oyull have to look for other subbers for most of the shows your watching. and while UTW is the best, its not like all the other subgroups are bad, and certinly not inferior enough for everyone to make such a big fuss abotu it and weep so much…

UTW provides guarantee of top quality and good speed. Many other groups are more subject to mistakes and/or delays, so it’s only natural that people wish for UTW to sub their most likely favorite series in the next season.
Everybody knows it’s impossible for one group to sub everything (well, Commie tries to prove this statement false and they’re doing pretty good job at getting closer toward achieving their goal, good luck to them), no matter how great it would seem. I don’t know how did you get impression that it isn’t the case.

Mazui has already said they’d do Hyouka. I doubt UTW would sub something that Mazui is planning on doing. both groups are on very good terms and do collaborations.
I’m glad your picking up “Tasogare Otome” It doesn’t look like that show is being picked up at the moment. I would hope you would do it even if Funi/Nico pick it up. Funi is downright unreliable at this point in time and some of their “simulcast” shows end up weeks behind schedule.
