“Epic” doesn’t even begin to describe this episode. I can’t remember the last time I watched anything quite as jaw-droppingly fabulous as this.
It’s a shame the nico subs were pretty poor this week. Awkward phrasing aside, they also managed to butcher the accuracy of an alarming number of lines this episode. It’s a wonder their translator/editor hasn’t been fired yet.
Anyway, do enjoy the episode! It’s back to some more Mahoyo for me.

TypeMoon butchered the german again (altough it’s getting better^^). Intensive is also german and should therefore be pronounced a bit differently. And considering the spelling… Well, Scrat already pointed it out.
Minor flaws in the original, not a Baumkuchen or Vogelkäfig, but still… And one little scene repetition is also in the vid.
However, thanks a lot for your hard work and the amazing quality.

There are transition glitches every time when the episode shows the next scene, I downloaded the episode from both DDL Anime and Depositfiles and they both have the same problem, don’t know if its my computer or the download process or an error from your guys end, but just pointing it out just incase.

I’m impressed by ufotable once again. Studio Deen’s Gate of Babylon looks like Gate of Fail in comparison to ufotable’s and Saber’s noble phantasm just managed to top that. You can’t even begin to compare it to Deen’s version, that’s how much more impressive and brilliant her noble phantasm looked in this episode. Epic stuff is epic.

Studio DEEN’s Sankarea is currently nicely animated. Seems like they are better with non-action ones.

Dude, get over it, he spouts thrusters out of missile hardpoints and turns chaff into incendiary bombs. It isn’t meant to be a pure F-15 once he gets a hold of it.
Eh sure. The moment I saw the tracking flares I decided to stop caring about the F-15 and just enjoy Excalibur instead.

Just a quick note: The name for Tokiomi’s spell was spelled incorrecty. It wouldn’t adhere to his pronunciation anyway, but if you at least want the written German to be correct, it’s “Intensive Einäscherung”, or at least “Einascherung” or “Einaescherung” if you don’t want to or can’t use the Umlaut for whatever reason.
Dude, you are probably the fourth of fifth guy who mentions the typo in Einäscherung. I think they got it already. :p

UTW should translate Mahoyo, not like all the insert the translation into the game, just make a script with translated text, you could translate a small part and eventually over time get it all done.
I would love to have UTW translation, UTW translation is by far the best and most trusted for me.
Saber’s noble phantasm here has more orgasm than the one she used on stay night on Rider. Or was that not a noble phantasm? 🙁 Or do they change every war?
I have to agree with the thing about Mahoyo translation.
@hayooo: Same attack. It doesn’t have greater power here than against Rider in F/sn, DEEN just has subpar ability to depict it.
the animation is totally awesome, but somehow I dont feel it to be as epic as Ionian Hetairoi (sorry Saber’s fans)

Wow. Fantastic episode, great animation. Almost makes me never want to watch the original again, this is just so much better. Why can’t they just reanimate the original series to make it match? And a great mix for The Sword of Promised Victory. And I was shocked that they actually showed the Fate design of Jeanne d’Arc. Very pretty.

^ I went ahead and torrent download compared three videos and the transition glitch is gone… WTH… ?.? , but anyway I guess my situation is somehow resolved, thanks. My guess might either be windows, windows media player, or the codecs, hmm… ._.
Animation of Excalibur was awesome, however the chant left much to be desired, it’s like Jeremy Clarkson’s “in….the world”, the pause is everything
