Thanks for subbing this. S2 being confirmed now, I’m glad they didnt rush it as much as I thought they were going to. Looking forward to Refrain…I hope they do a much better job. This was a hard to adapt into an anime for any company. I dont think they did BAD but they definitely struggled.

There’s a mistake in the release, the last shot of the scoreboard has the team names switched. That took off quite a bit of the impact, fuck you archdeco.
at least they got enough episodes to cover the Refrain. i still didnt see the kuyugiya route still!

Those of you who’re saying that there shouldn’t be a second season are essentially missing the entire point. If you’ve read/watched ANY of Key’s works, you’d know that the first half is usually slice of life/filled with pointless jokes etc. It’s the second half where it really comes into it’s own, and anyone who’s read the VN would know just how amazing Refrain is. If After Story made you cry, Refrain will absolutely destroy you with no mercy at all. Really looking forward to S2, if J.C Staff don’t screw it up it might be one of the best anime seasons ever.
A shame you guys don’t do attack on titan “possible AOTY..”

the_avenger is totally right. Refrain is simply AMAZING. And, although J.C. Staff’s animation is a bit weird, sometimes, I’m really looking forward the second season, Refrain. Since the first season, which is mainly the common route and the others heroins route, was vastly (but not entirely) shown, the next season will probably be incredibly similar to the VN (or so I hope).
Though I’m a huge fan of Little Busters, I didn’t like as well this first season, but, seriously, people, don’t take the anime bad. The beginning is really boring and kinda annoying, sometimes, but the good… no, that’s not the correct word… the MOSTLY AMAZING BEST PART EVER (kinda exagerated, but I love it ;P ) will begin in a few weeks, so don’t give up, please. It breaks my heart to see people bad mouthing it just because they think it’s boring when they don’t know the entire story >_<"
That picture describes my thoughts after watching this. you guys did great. S1 of LB! was mediocre. I’ve never seen a show get more hype over content that hasn’t even happened. “This was great BECAUSE this is going to happen.” ie S1 is good because of Refrain. Nahhhh this was 26 episodes of building a friendship with little to no Key magic/drama.
aaaand… is Kurugaya’s route be broadcasted in the next season as well? In the teaser movie in the official website, there is a part when she appears in the corridor of the courtyard saying “Everything will be gone once I wake up”, which is related to her route ‘-‘
Kid’s my favorite but I think the Kyouske x Riki pairing is best. Or maybe Riki x Kyouske, I can never remember which one is which.
Good call on the scoreboard at 21:19, nothing a few seconds in Aegisub can’t fix though.

Wait, people like Railgun? I thought it was bland and boring compared to the main Index series. Maybe me and my friends are weird, considering we all think that. Except Kuroko. Kuroko is da shit. Nuff said.
Railgun is different from Index but I like it quite a lot. It is actually one of the few animes I’ve rewatched. Many Index fans dislike Railgun for some reason.

So how the adaptation go? I’m a huge Key fan but, from the look of things, the adaptation didn’t go too well. Figured, this VN was way to freaking long. Then again, most of the people here seem to like trashy shows like Railgun so not sure if I can take your opinions seriously.

That’s just sad; your entire opinion of a series is based solely on a character who isn’t even all that important to the plot. That’s what I hate about character marketing shows, its like who even needs a plot anymore.
