Are we sure how long the series is? I never know other than looking them up on ANN, and sometimes it will say 12 episodes for a while, and then suddenly jump to 24 late in the season or something.

First 4 episodes were universal before path branches. She gets a solid 2 episodes and the others will prob get 2. That’s my thought. I’m not anticipating a second season at all.
Yaaa I thought it was going to be like amagami, thats how the manga is. I was kinda confused about the direction of the anime but I guess they wanted to introduce the targets!
For Haruka’s sake I’ll give this anime one more chance, but if the mc continues being a retard then dropped it is.
Chapter jump is messed up again. Episode title is not visible when jumping because it starts before the chapter starts:

Nope, everything works fine here.
Maybe the codecs you’re using are just weird. I know that Kawaii and CCCP are different when it comes to this, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are similar differences for the other codecs. Not sure if it’s the codec or the player they use, but yea.

yes, it is the CRC32 checksum. useful if you wanna verify it’s integrity.
if you DL via torrents though, just force a recheck of the files and you get the same effect.

the text is slightly early for me too, so i don’t see it if i chapter skip. has been the same for the previous episodes (using LAV filters, xy-vsfilter, MPH-HC,madvr and reclock; no haali splitter).
that being said, it’s not hard to just press left and go back 5 secs… 🙂

Using CCCP’s latest release. No problems seeing the titles using chapter skip.
@mtm: there is no way it would work unless your player doesn’t jump correctly. The subtitles are only drawn if you jump to a point BEFORE the line starts. The chapter is clearly specified to start AFTER the line starts.

Scratch that, I was using CCCP 3.25, which gave no problems with the chapter skip.
I upgraded to CCCP 4.20 (they picked that date on purpose, I swear), and now I get the same problem as Soukyuu is getting.
I wonder what changed between the two releases that produces this.
Then again, this is not a major problem, at least for me.
If it really bugs you, you can just go to options in MPC and go to Tweaks, then set the Small Jump value to 100-200 ms, then assign the Small Jump button to whatever key you like. Should save you from jumping 5 seconds every time it happens.
It’s just a matter of quality, I know it’s possible to have it jump correctly cause I’ve been through that with files I packaged myself. All they’d have to do is make sure they put the chapter jump 1ms before the subtitle appears. 1ms isn’t really noticeable for the viewer, but it does restore the episode title. For this episode, the chapter start of PartA should be 00:02:21.779
I think the new CCCP switched to LAV which doesn’t have the “broken” jumping anymore.

Go complain to Mosu, the mkvmerge dev about it. He knows of this problem and has no intention to fix I dont think.
@ar: I’m not complaining, I’m trying to help. Testing further shows that it’s a problem with LAV splitter, not mkvmerge. Using Haali splitter your typesetting works fine, so does mine on my files. Switching to LAV breaks both this ep and my files. So it’s definitely LAV, going to report it in the dev thread I guess.

Well, did you consider it being played out like in SoraIro? few eps introduction + few eps per girl for conclusions. They should be able to fit them in this season.
Just a bit of pet peeve of mine, but at 11:53 it is Maeda’s name is in English order, and on the next line, Haruka’s name is in Japanese order. IMO, its less confusing when it’s just left in Japanese order.
Or if you really must change it to English order, at least keep the consistency to change all names to English order?
