Here’s the final episode for Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S. We hope you’ve enjoyed watching our releases, and we apologize for the large delay on the grand finale.
I’d been looking forward to this series for a while, and it was a blast being able to work with the staff we had. Though at times, things got a bit rocky, everyone did fantastic work. Working on anything in the Raildex work can be a pain in the ass, since it’s usually a 2-cour series. Looks like our next stop is Toaru Majutsu no Index III, though, which should be pretty fun. And hopefully by then, I won’t have had to make a second script for Sparky, and Ulrezaj will realize that it’s clearly the perfect translation of the nickname.
Let’s hit up the staff and see what they have to say:

Ulrezaj (Translator/Editor/Quality Check) – one arc? ONE arc??
archdeco (Timer) – Not enough Saten and Mugino in this show. Kusion stinx
__ar (Encoder/Typesetter) – While the last arc wasn’t bad per se, and it had ITEM, it was still a whole season of subbing that could have been avoided by a 13 ep Sisters arc + wrap-up.
Big thanks to euronymous, Norgus, and Nevreen for their work on Railgun as well.
And of course, I took on the role of editing and quality check.
I’ll be going on a hiatus from active fansubbing for the next year or so (really until something interesting comes by, iDOLM@STER movie, season two of PuchiM@S!, maybe another season of Raildex). I’ve been fansubbing for over 5 years, and I need a break. I’ll be working from the back of UTW, doing non-active fansubbing work, such as batches for my old projects. This batch will be my top priority, and I’ll try to have it out in a decent amount of time.

Also it’s nice to see them keep up some things with the index movie, especially the parts where people are able to breathe in outer space lol
This season was awesome until the Sisters arc ended. Everything after that was just meh, so I didn’t watch ti all the way through. I will watch this episode though, just cause it has a significantly less amount of “cute girls doing cute things aka fucking nothing” in it.

Good, the loli filler is finally over. Figures the anime original character is the youngest girl in the series, and she’s got an oral fixation to boot.
This whole season could have been skipped. Any time Imagine Breaker shows up is just a repeat, then once that “revisiting” is over with it’s all trash. Couple episodes with the show’s namesake blowing shit up is the only good part, the other 20+ eps are forgettable.
Awesome final. Thanks a lot to all the subbers for all the hard work over this past season.
Looks like season 3 will start off with liberal arts city (I assume that last part was supposed to be a hint towards that).
Also I don’t get why people complain about the second half of the season. I’ve seen many anime with ‘filler arc’s’ and this one isn’t bad, in fact it’s pretty great. Lot’s of moments where Misaka could show how much she’s grown from her experiences during the sisters arc and showing off her awesomeness.

Most words have more than one meaning. The translator’s job is to determine from context and experience which meaning is intended and use the most appropriate English translation. Nobody would argue that 遅い is untranslatable because it can mean both “slow” and “late”.

Second. Please. I love what the fansubbing community does. CR does well, but they do not beat the passion that you guys bring to the table. Please, Please, Please do Golden Time. You will probably do Kyoto Animations show. I hope you do. Funimation is utter crap at what they do. Embarrassing. But please, if you really really really want to do an original show, then do it. Dump Little Busters. It will be a nearcast like it was last year, and CR deserves that cheap ass melodrama. I want to see the passion this community can bring to an original production.

Hi, I appear to have some problem playing this.
It plays fine on my desktop but when I put it on my external hard drive with an e-sata connection it freezes up my hard drive and it disconnects from my computer.
I have other videos which are well over afew gigabytes and they play absolutely fine, just wondering what is the problem with this particular file.
Can an encoder or someone knowledgeable enlighten me?
