Surprise project! … kinda.
Kuttsukiboshi is a yuri/drama anime by Primastea (who brought you Issho ni Training) released during Comic Market 78. This is the first part; the second part is scheduled for release in the summer of 2011, presumably during Comic Market 80.
The LQ tag simply means that we did not encode the video for the release (ie. a Share/PD raw, or a raw from a raws group). The subtitles should be perfectly fine, and of the typical UTW style. We may release this with a better video once we get a copy of the original DVD.
As for my thoughts on this, it’s not bad, but it’s not mind-blowing amazing either. Give it a watch and see for yourself.

I guess that brings us to the end of the Kaoru arc; I found its conclusion pretty meh. Next week we’ll have fluffy underclassman Nakata Sae.
Things really didn’t go as planned today during the subbing process for multiple reasons, hence the delay. I practically went solo for half the episode, so any awkward English, typos, bad timing, or whatnot you may encounter in this release today is my fault; feel free to e-crucify me if you so wish.

At friggin last!
While all the members of UTW put an extraordinary amount of effort into each weekly release of Angel Beats!, putting the batch together was largely relegated to ar and myself. The scripts have all been refined, many of the episodes were re-encoded, and even the insert songs were redone just for the batch.
I’ve pretty much just been waiting for the final OK to release, and so I’m very excited to present, in its entirety, Angel Beats!
It was the very first anime project I’ve ever done, and I’m absolutely thrilled to have had a chance to work on such an enjoyable show. I hope all of you who take a look will enjoy it as much as I did.
