I asked about this last week, but would like to clarify matters:
I’m trying to edit the previous Amagami arc for my personal enjoyment (cutting out useless bits), but I may change my mind about the “personal” bit.
(I’m using AviDemux to cut stuff out, VisualSubSync to fix subtitles, and MKVtoolnix to find out parameters and to process everything back together. Since I’m just learning my way around, I haven’t yet figured out how to preserve your font styles in the re-muxed mkvs.)
– Is it all right with you if I put the edited mkvs up for download somewhere?
– Is it all right to use your subs for the edited files, suitably adapted/shortened?
– And is it all right to translate those same shortened subs into other languages, if I feel like it? I already asked even before (in an Angel Beats post) and you were fine with translating the full versions of the scripts.
– As long as I credit UTW for the source of the video and the subs, are all these all right, no worries?

What you do with our subs is beyond our control: even if we say no, there’s no stopping you if you really insisted anyway. You could rip our scripts, translate them into Swahili, Creole, or what have you, and it wouldn’t (really) bother us. If you do mess around with our scripts, however, please keep our name off it (though, feel free to give us a shoutout at your site or on TokyoTosho or whatever); we want no part of whatever you may be doing to our work. We assume no responsibility for, and will not support, non-official releases.

After googling a bit…apparently there is a final “Miya” route in the original PS2 game–you can only access it after finishing all the routes with the other girls. Apparently Miya’s route is where the title “Amagami” comes from. All I can say is…god damn 0_0
To EricJohnson: That’s right. After you finish the “seventh girl’s” route and save, when you restart a new cycle, you then have the option of starting Miya’s route on day 5. I can’t really say much about it, since I haven’t had the time to finish it quite yet.
By the way, an anime spin-off featuring the “seventh girl” has been confirmed. Personally, I prefer this much more over Miya and especially Umehara.
(Mainly ’cause I found her part to be more interesting. Oh, and the “seventh girl IS cuter than Miya, in my opinion.) I wonder why an Umehara arc is made. All it really is is Junichi’s failure to go on a Christmas date with a girl.
The problem is that the “Seventh girl” in the anime, actually, is a BOY!

To TheCumi: The “seventh girl” is, indeed, a girl. In Amagami SS’s opening, after the title is shown and when the characters are walking to school, see the girl with long hair walking next to Ai Nanasaki (The girl in the yellow coat)? That’s the “seventh girl”.
