Can’t stop liking how Accelerator is developing to be a good character and walking the redemption path, this series is really full of awesome characters.
6:40 seems like a TL mistake.
Probably means all 3 shouldn’t have left the room (hence causing a message to be left on the answering machine as there was nobody to answer the phone).
So they decide to leave one of them behind, in case she calls again, and only 2 leave.

I see where your confusion is now. In the line “It’s because we left her alone,” the “her” is little MISAKA. MISAKA has been out of the house since the end of Ep 17.
So this episode in short:
– Touma has a twin fetisch
– Kanzaki doesnt wear underwear
– Laura (Bishop) likes watersport
– and Touma and Accelerator did some loli exchange

Sigh, it’s not some ‘confusion’.
It’s a TL ‘interpretation’ difference.
Whats-her-face-Anti-skill-lady literally says “All three of us leaving the room was bad.”
This can be interpreted as “All three of us leaving the room, leaving Last Order alone in the room, was bad.”
But based on what they say later at 6:50: “Well this time, we’ll leave Kikyou to watch over the house.”
Indicates that what she actually means at 6:40 isn’t “It’s because we left her alone.” but that she’s probably talking about a more recent event, that is, all three left the room to search for Last Order, and while they were out, she called, and nobody was left to answer the phone to ask her where she is.
If she WAS talking about leaving Last Order alone, it doesn’t follow that they should now leave someone behind. But if she’s talking about not having left someone to answer the phone (or in case Last Order comes back), then it does follow that it makes sense for only 2 of them to go on a search and leave 1 behind.

You are looking too much into it.
Starting with Ep 17, Yoshikawa Kikyou and Yomikawa Aiho were both alone in the room when Accelerator came in asking “Hey, where’d that little brat go?” They reply, “Now that you mention it…” This is the point where they all notice MISAKA (Last Order) is missing. Last Order was locked outside because of the auto lock on the door. The episode ends with Last Order taking MISAKA 10032 goggles. Nothing stating, “All three of us leaving the room was bad.” (I understand this is not a direct quote.)
In Ep 18, the three receive the message from Last Order, which states that she is playing with MISAKA (10032), she’s not coming home quite yet, and for Accelerator to prepare dinner for her. Based on what we have from Ep 17 and Ep 18, the three never left the house to search for her just yet. After the message comes the line “it’s because we left her alone,” which they actually did, or they would have immediately noticed Last Order was missing in Ep 17 right off the bat. For the line “if she had only called one of us, we could’ve asked where she is” just means, based from Ep 18, that Last Order just called the house phone and not any of the three directly. “We’ll leave Kikyou to watch over the house, then” just means that they will leave Yoshikawa Kikyou to stay at the house in case Last Order comes back or calls again. (Now this is already reading too much into it for me.) The three leaving Last Order alone does follow them leaving someone behind just in case as the other two search for her (as you already stated). This does not mean it’s a TL mistake; it is just how you interpret it base on what you have.

If you can’t patch then maybe you have a different filename from mine. Could be that I replaced underscores with spaces in my filename, I don’t remember anymore. Next time, be more descriptive please, a simple “doesn’t work” isn’t really helpful.
The Church-on-Church action of the first half of this season was alright (like random Rie Kugumiya HNNNNGH), but I’m SO GLAD we’re finally back to wacky esper misadventures in Academy City.

This episode was quite entertaining. It frustrated me to no end that Accelerator and Touma didn’t see each other. The author is copping out of conveying such a complicated (and complicating) character dynamic.

I been thinking about this sense season one….I been struggling on who is more cuter [Mikoto or Misaka-10032] but after this I know. 10032 is the cutest character in the anime. Its hard for me to say that a character trumps Mikoto but 10032 >>> Mikoto.
some how i feel like nothing ever gets done, Ep to Ep, i feel like theres going to be a season 3. LOVED this Ep, thans UTW! next Ep looks awsome! but it will probably drag out over 3-5 Eps….witch kills me. i’ve taken to wating a week or to till i have 2-3 Eps and watching them in a row.
