Fractale – 09 Delayed / Index 23 Delayed
Ok, so this is just a tl;dr status post.
Due to current events in Tokyo and the neighbouring areas, getting hold of the transport stream is slower than usual today. Hopefully we’ll get this episode done today sometime. No promises on timeframe yet though, it’ll be done when it’s done.

Index 23 will not be airing this week, but instead, ep22 will air on Tokyo MX.

We are a fansub site, not a news site. Everyone that doesn’t live under a rock knows what’s happening in Japan, and you know where to go if you want to donate to help rescue efforts.

ah hahaaha i still dont quite get it(shouldnt have skipped english class so often xD)…if the problem is that they cant find a raw version there is 1 in hd on nyaatorrents with many seeds
@what is a transport stream?: I believe what it is (put in the simplest terms) is a directly-recorded-from-TV raw, not a second-hand-from-some-torrent-site raw.
If I’m wrong somewhere, someone feel free to correct me.

I don’t know when it aired, I’m not following the schedule that close, but for the things that happened it should be reasonable to wait a bit more. At least it’s what I think.
oh tonight ep 22, does that mean the V0 gets replaced ? ^^
I’m not even sure why I downloaded the v0 since I never even watched it, figuring the V1 would go up EVENTUALLY.

A raw for ep. 22 Index from Tokyo-MX station is out. Just some FYI if you guys plan to use a share raw. So the good news is MX is airing again.

The whole point of doing a v0 was BECAUSE of a share raw. That is what we use the v0 tag for.
v0 means either Share Raw or a really bad ts (ie atx-hd).
A v1 will only be done from a good transport stream.
There’s a good reason we don’t use share raws for final tv versions, and that is because most Japanese encoders think using Warpsharp is a good thing and destroying line art is also a good thing. Warpsharp is ok for fixing up things like bad upscales where they have reverse warpsharped the lines to make them look thicker, but not for destroying undamaged lines.
