Huh?  V0?  What’s the meaning of this, you say?
It’s our new state-of-the-art method of avoiding v2’s It turns out that the transport stream from our usual source (very generous people indeed) was corrupted: there are three segments, lasting 2-5 seconds each, that are missing.  We decided to go ahead and release anyway, despite being hours after schedule.  We will release a v1 once we get our hands on a non-corrupted transport stream.  For the full BGata10 experience, I strongly suggest you wait for the v1 version.
That being said, if any of you out there can offer us the transport stream, you will have our undying gratitude.  Otherwise, we’ll wait until it pops up on PD or something.
The episode, otherwise, was awesome.  I remember loving these same parts in the manga.  Kyouka is quite delicious, I must say.

No MU links because lol uploading 10GB on Megaupload.  Remember, you can always grab the releases off our bots in our IRC channel (which you should be lurking in), too.
Joint with THORA, translated (from scratch) by yours truly.  I actually had the script done the day the BD came out, but there’s a lot of work that goes into subbing a two hour long movie.  The encoding also took a few days to finish. It was pretty cool though, final QC was completed shortly after the 1080p encode was done.
I hope we didn’t lose too many first-time viewers of this movie, but either way I think I can safely say this is the version you’ll want to archive.  Enjoy!
EDIT:: Three things.
1)  If you experience any playability issues, use MPC-HC with CCCP.  This is the only setup that we guarantee will play without problems, notwithstanding hardware/CPU issues.
2)  We have only one release bot, and she is getting pounded on hard.  If you could spare a bot or two to help us distro, please contact me (Raze) in our IRC channel.
3)  Typo fix patch released; the link has been pasted above. The patch fixes only the 720p or 1080p versions. Be sure to read the readme before using the patch, or risk having to redownload all those gigs again.  The  version of the patch deletes your original file: prevent that by either first making a copy of the original video in case something goes wrong, or using the DDL version of the patch.  Alternatively, you can simply download the latest script, rename it with the same filename as the video, install the fonts included, and the subs will load.
Just to clarify, THORA’s version is exactly the same as ours; it’s just named differently.  The patch will work on THORA’s version if you simply rename the file as directed in the readme.

Angel Beats 08 and B Gata H Kei 08

Although the episodes were awesome, I’m glad this week is finally over.
Hey again, everyone.  As we mentioned previously, Raze had the week off, starting last Friday.  Nikon and I basically two-manned Angel Beats last week, and I took over for Raze on B-Gata this week.  If the subs for B-Gata aren’t up to snuff, I dunno, send ninjas after me or something.  They’ll be back to normal next Thursday.
Fansubbing is enjoyable work, but it’s also very tiring.  Not something that I recommend doing solo.  Not only did Raze have the week off, but Nikon was forced to time off of a puny netbook, and we had other issues as well.  Still, we pulled it together.
So without further ado, a two-for-one newspost!

I dunno what I was expecting when I volunteered to take over on this, but it was certainly a change.  To say nothing of the difference in dialogue, B Gata has a LOT more signs than Angel Beats.  So we can all thank Bob64 for doing a great job on this episode. Plus thanks to Kusion for coming in and getting the timing done late at night.  Poor Kosuda.  If he only knew what Yamada was really thinking.

This episode was fantastic.  Plenty of action, plenty of Yui and TK’s antics, and plenty of Tenshi.  Oh yes, plenty of Tenshi indeed.  Huge thanks to both Nikon and Klipper for the timing on this, and to ar for all-around helpfulness.  I really think you guys are gonna enjoy this episode.  I only wish we could have had it up sooner.  Hopefully everything will be back to normal by next week.  In the meantime, thanks for stopping by, and enjoy!

Meh, this episode was okay.  As usual in anime, we have way too many overly attractive females in the same class.  And I sproinged like the healthy young man I am when Kanejou was stripping in the changing room.
Starting tomorrow, for the next week and a half I will be vacationing with my family whom I haven’t seen in almost a year, which means that B Gata will be delayed next week until I get back.  Angel Beats, however, shouldn’t be too drastically affected, and will be delayed at most for a few hours.
EDIT: Sorry I kinda dropped the ball a bit with all those typos in this episode.  You can download a patch that fixes all the typos we managed to find HERE.  The XviD SD version does not contain said typos.

I must say this was a pretty good episode.  I really wanted to put a pic of Kanejou up since this episode’s really all about her, but Yamada in that outfit is simply too adorable to not use.
I think it’s also quite clear we need more distros.  If you guys have a box or two, a bot, or a great connection (10MB/s upload or more preferably) you could spare, please contact me (Raze) at #utw@irc.rizon.net.  I’d also like to invite those of you who own bots that already host our releases to have them lurk at our channel for the benefit of leechers.
EDIT: If you guys are having any problems playing our releases, install CCCP and use MPC for playback.  Unfortunately, our encodes and particularly our typesetting are not designed to work with any other combination of codec pack and player.

Ohm’s Law states that the current in an circuit is proportional to the voltage input (or electric potential difference) and inversely proportional to the resistance of said circuit. This is shown as:

Where I represents the current (measured in Amperes), V represents the voltage input (or electric potential difference, measured in Volts), and R represents the resistance (measured in Ohms, or ?). The problem posed in this episode is as follows:

What is the current in Amperes that will flow when 3.0 Volts is applied to a 20 Ohm resistor?
