Here I was wondering why there wasn’t a new episode and find out you guys won’t translate it because it’s a recap episode. Good. Recap episodes are a waste of time for everybody. The only anime to do a good recap episode worth watching was FMA Brotherhood because it actually added some slightly new information and recapped from a different character perspective. Overall, I wish Japan would stop making them.

A recap is made cuz watchers tend to forget past occurrences more often than not… And not all of us have time to re-watch episodes more than once. Aside from BD/DVD Batch releases… >.>
Fansubbers usually do not sell their work or even make a profit out of it. So, can’t call it pirating at all. So long that it is free for us leechers and at their expense. Then I have no complaints… 😉
It is pirating to download anime from fansubbers where FUNimation, Crunchyroll, Hulu, Netflix or any official subbing company is concerned in your country of origin. If you live in the US, you’re pirating anything that those aforementioned companies are subbing themselves as they are making profit off the simulcast streams their paying users are getting.
Anime is no longer alien/foreign in concept any more in the west, it is rather mainstream now.
That said, most of us do not care because of the absurd idea of streaming. I’d prefer to have my content at my disposal, online and offline, not at the mercy of my ISP when they decide to go down, or when the streaming website goes down.
