This release marks the completion of yet another series! Working on this series was pretty enjoyable, and we definitely had fun doing it with our bros at Ryuumaru. Most of us followed this series either for the heavy drama or the porn (or the twincest…) but it’s definitely been quite a ride for all of us. Unfortunately, none of us wants to work on the BDs, so it’s pretty unlikely that we will.

Well, thank you everyone…you’ve set me up happy for my flight home (the 3-4 hours on the plane will pass quickly now)
Kira subs is doing the blue rays for this, and they’re doing amagami ss they finished the morishima, kaoru, and the first two episodes of the sai arc so far.
Anyhow I enjoyed the rest of the episodes except the sora arc(only watched it just to see the end of the show), I hope there’s a kozue arc at least 2 ova or bonus episodes or Motoka since she’s a main character in the game( the short was cool but I would of liked to seen episodes for her).

I’m not sure there will be any extra/changed scenes. The show is certainly quite explicit already, getting anymore so would make it altogether hentai! 🙂

Well, I’m sure someone will get around to it. I’ll be honest, I haven’t watched episode 11 aside from the omake yet and I’m not sure if I’ll watch episode 12. I just feel so bad for Kozue.

I have to say, I really enjoyed this series, if not for the most common factor, for the music. Violins in general make me eargasm, so them going on constantly is a god damn joy.

While in the game they survive here in the anime is more ambiguous and vague. There is another media however where you can follow YnS, is the manga that is ended in november and the last tonkobon will be published this month. FAD2Raptor already scanlated the first volume and they prolly will cover the last one too.

facing an uncertain future while continuing an incestuous relationship … I know it’s painful to be separated and all … this ending gives me a feeling of sadness for the twins and the challenges they face ahead … I guess the absence of parents can do to them …
a curious ending from my perspective … I feel the sadness of everyone around them when they left and the vacation home the twins left behind and the memories that comes with it …
one thing though … who saved them from drowning??? I know haru can’t swim & we never saw sora swim even with her health issues … it is kinda vague as to whether they did survived but the text message answered all questions …

I feel like this series has been a huge heart/cocktease. I mean, just when you think there’s gonna be some juicy srsbsns drama, it kinda gets cheesy. And when you think there’s gonna be some juicy srsbsns sex, it kinda gets cut off (…no pun intended… at all). Pretty good show, but I guess it wasn’t what I was expecting, that’s all.

Eh I didn’t like the last episode unfortunately. Idk what I was expecting since I liked every other one. At least they’re happy…even if it is the whole twin thing. I suppose it is hard to argue what Nao said regarding you don’t choose who you fall in love with. But it’s still messed up. The Motoka arc ended perfectly 🙂
The best part was undoubtedly the music. I can’t wait to acquire the album. Absolutely beautiful score.
Anyway thanks UTW and Ryuumaru for a quality job on the series as a whole. No biggie on the BD. Kira subs is doing it so at least there is a back up.

Angel Beats Ep13 Alternate Epilogue + Stairway to Heaven Special will be released alongside Episode 13 as a complete BD Volume 7. Since Mazui has already speedsubbed it we don’t see the point of releasing until we have the BD to encode from. So chances are it’ll be sometime around mid to late next week. I’ve already typeset both bd features and Ershin is translating them as he has the time in his busy schedule so they’re being worked on already.

In the visual novel, Haruka saved Sora thanks to him taking swimming lessons with Nao. In the ED sequence (“Pinky Jones” by Momoiro Clover), you’ll see who actually saved them.
But I believe it’s the rabbit momento (which Akira finds near the end) that is causing the speculation/confusion of their deaths. Sora is seen with it on the train, yet she tore it up in a previous scene.

bgm for the lake scene is pretty awesome (listen with headphones/good sound setup to hear all the instruments). of course I liked the rest of the soundtrack, too. just that song seems specialized for exactly that lake scene. I hope that will make it into the ost.

It’s not that we don’t want to do it, well Commander`A doesn’t and I just don’t have the time to do another BD project at the moment. People seem to forget how much time is involved in doing BD releases. It’s easy to slap another groups subs on something, but when it’s your own it’s a lot of work because things end up being fixed up, etc.
CG and KiraSubs are doing the BDs. It is a bummer that UTW isn’t doing it but their subs are the most important part and both of the above groups are using them.
