This episode was god-tier in so many ways. I guess they really were saving the best till last.
We should’ve seen it coming when we learned that Haruka’s middle name was “Lovely”, but this is on a whole new level. Pretty amazing family that Haruka’s from.
And yes, the dialogue really does say Jessica has green eyes, but this somehow failed to carry over to the animation. I’ll attribute this discrepancy to AIC screwing up their communication or something.
NB: I’ve updated DF with the v2 mux, and you can grab the patch for the v2 below the HD in the link. This fixes the partial encoding glitch on frame 7829, caused by an intermittent random memory error that I haven’t been able track down the cause of yet.

Recolors in Amagami SS Plus, its more likely than you think. Even if they had correctly given her green eyes, her having the exact same hair style, height, and body type is pretty silly. Even more so than Sae cloning herself.

Haha Jessica Sexy Morishima, that family rules.
The colors might be due to the Japanese perception of what constitutes ‘green’. They consider traffic signals to be red, yellow and ‘blue’. Maybe someone just screwed up, but when I see blue in place of green or green in place of blue in anything Japanese, I remember the traffic signals and chalk it up to that.
And Hibiki, wow. I so hope they either do a spinoff game and/or just an anime series on some of the other characters.

You’re thinking about “aoi”, which does mean blue/green as you described. However, the color in question here is “midori”, which in all contexts and purposes means green, hence the discrepancy as Raze mentioned.

Using the v2 patch, at around the 5 minute mark, the subtitles get cut off. Before that, some of the subs seemed to have been bunched up kind-of odd.

XviD v2 is low on my priority list at the moment, perhaps when I have some time since it requires a full re-encode and probably can’t be patched.

download the patch
extract it to some folder
copy your old amagami file into that folder
run any file that have extension “.bat” (without the “)
and then you will see the command prompt and the new file will be created
that’s should named with words “v2” <== that's the new file that already patched

Depotfiles are G@y for most of time, even with small issues with DDLA atleast they had true resume and better download speed
I think Hibiki’s giving the rest of the girls a run for their money in this arc. The way she blushes is just too adorable. I don’t know if I’d say that she’s my #1 favorite now, but she’s definitely a contender. Hibiki-arc = want.
