I liked accel world a lot from the first couple volumes, but haru is just starting to grate on me too hard. Thanks for the early release, but the combination of pathetic and emo might make this my last episode. Christ, kid, sack up or gtfo.
Haru’s pouting and screaming was quite excessive this episode. Ash’s ridiculousness brought it back though.

I heard Accel World is best at vol 5+ which the anime wont cover, so got to wait for baka-tsuki to translate the novels.
Or UTW could spread to novels and translate walls and walls of text for us =P

Have you gone nuts with the typesetting on the logo again in the new OP? I’m seeing a huge memory allocation spike (2GB+) when it pops up, similar to what the original version of the first OP’s typesetting caused.
fake edit: OK, 1300+ lines of typesetting just for the logo. That might be just a tad excessive.

The new opening is causing the newest release of VLC to freeze (for about 10 seconds) during the scene when we see cat-girl Chiyu and piggy Haru. And it is only the video that freezes, not the sound. This has happened with AW 14 and 15 — MPC plays it just fine. No big deal, but not sure if there is an encode issue going on so just FYI.
Seriously.. I freaking hate that Nomi guy.. And Haru just had to go all emo on us..

Because, believe it or not, the opposite has happened in the past where MPC failed to play an encode without crashing while VLC played it just fine. And yes, I used SFV to confirm the integrity of my download. Multiple players is never a mistake!
