Quick question, while playing the OP of last week’s release MPC-HC keeps crashing. Later I discovered the RAM usage spiked to ~3.3GB during certain parts of the OP but settled to ~600MB after. I’m assuming MPC-HC hit the 4GB address space limitation for 32 bit apps (VRAM usage ~600MB). I had no choice but to skip the OP entirely. Is that normal? I’m using madvr and lav on Vista x64.

@palladium use xy-vsfilter. MPC-HC’ Internal subtitle renderer chokes on lots of gradient, which is heavily used in the op.

Could anyone reading the LN/Manga explain how far through we are. That is if they’re much cohesion between stories.

The LN is up to vol 12, with 1 vol being dedicated to side stories. Right now the pace of the anime is 6 eps per novel + the side stories (aqua current and okinawa). The Nomi arc ends at vol 4 which is exactly when this anime is supposed to end at its current pace.
Hopefully we’ll get a season 2 in that case. Does any one know how well the series is doing in Japan?

The latest 2 (not counting 12 since it just came out and the list is up to June) are #17 and #18, while vol 1 and 2 are #31 and #36.
I interpret this to mean that the series is quite popular by itself and the anime made more people interested.

So I am guessing every time Leopard says ‘kay’ its actually supposed to be just ‘k’, using internet lingo.
is it just me or are the subtitles vanishing after a few seconds in?
I’m forced to use default style subs in MPC-HC since the styled ones aren’t loading :/

that doesn’t help me at all, though I did try it.
It’s not that my subs aren’t loading or lagging.
They show up and then all of a sudden don’t, as if they are loading off-screen.
If I switch to Default Style subs they show up fine, they just lose all the formatting, such as Font type and Placement.
I also went back and checked the previous episode and those subs aren’t loading either X-X I think I broke something by updating to the latest K-Lite Release…
The only still good news is that SAO still loads it’s subs perfectly fine.
