Haruki Kitahara is the third wheel interfering with the yuri adventures of Kazusa and Setsuna.
Of course Haruki deserves a chance at Best WA2 Girl.
Why for fucks sake did they choose that terrible song for her to play? She practiced so long only to play such an easy song. This isn’t really realistic.

Actually, slow pieces like what Kazusa played for the competition can be challenging to play well. They’re usually technically simple, but conveying the emotions and sounding convincing is a whole different game and requires some serious musicianship to pull off, especially at the competitive level.
Kazusa was playing Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 26, the “Les Adieux”, and in this episode, she only actually played the 2nd movement (the slow “song” that took up most of the time) and the 3rd movement (the final few measures of it, anyway, after the “skip”). The Les Adieux sonata, as a whole, is actually pretty difficult.
Also, preparing for high-level competitions really does take a LOT of time if you want to have any chance of winning. Every phrase, every idea, every tone, every note has to be refined to at least near-perfection (especially for slower pieces), and even then, you can be cast out of the running simply because a judge on the panel didn’t like your style or interpretation. I speak from experience.

@what I’ve seen the CG for WA2 and to be honest… they’re all pretty bad. Maybe if u squint your eyes really hard so that you don’t see anything then it’ll be passable.
