Bit late this week since people were busy on the weekend, and I just got back from work. Better late than never though…
arEdit: I’ve put out a v2 to fix the script demuxing issue/broken on Haali Splitter issue, which stems back to how mkvmerge handles out of spec sections after Events in an .ass file. If you don’t have any problems then don’t bother grabbing the v2.

Downloaded 720p, opened it with Media Player Classic like all of the previous ones. At first had only black frame without even sound, when clicked on different place on a time scrollbar thingy it started playing but without subtitles, pop-up menu doesn’t show any subtitles ether. Was that a raw file or am I having problems on my side?
Plays fine for me, sounds like something odd on your end. Make sure you’re using LAV splitter and not Haali Media Splitter in the filters menu (right click on video -> filters )

If you are getting no subtitles, please change from Haali media splitter -> LAV Splitter.
Checked filters, tried previous episodes, reloaded HD and downloaded SD. All other episodes run normally and with subs, SD runs normally has subs, HD still starts as a black frame and has no subs. t_t

The problem is Haali Splitter. You need to change to LAV Splitter… If you are using CCCP I would suggest updating it to a recent version, and during the setup I believe it should give you an option to reset all settings to default, if it does then do so.
Installed base version of MPC instead of K-Lite Pack and it started playing properly… Still thanks for helpful answers.

I can confirm that the problem is Haali, even when I had LAV Splitter set as preferred in the external filters section in MPC it was still using Haali’s Splitter. I removed the Haali Splitter and then it finally used the LAV Splitter and the issue was fixed.

Looks like you’re writing both the Japanese text and the translation on top of the original text, but the original is still visible.
I’m using MPC-HC x64 without any external filters or renderers. Any idea what might be wrong?

I would try a nightly build, I believe that bug was fixed with the internal subtitle renderer somewhat recently.
