Anyone else very annoyed that the script uses the literal english translation of shirou’s chant instead of the canonical translation that type-moon did for it? I’m like really really annoyed at it right now.

We’re basically dead, nobody will continue because all of the staff are pretty much retired now or too busy to sub.
Thank you for seeing this project through to the end. I’ve not only waited for the series to finish before marathoning it all, but I’m waiting for the UTW subs as well because it’s the only way to watch a show of ufo Fate’s quality.
UTW has a slick professionalism in the presentation of the site (not doing all this “Hurr, we’re based.” shit in release notes) and their subtitles which other fansub groups and even paid-for services lack. UTW releases really feel like FAN subs. Subtitles created by fans of the medium, with deliberation and TLC and no incentive beyond a passion for anime, that are worth waiting for and feel like the only way a show should be watched if it is one that the UTW team had picked up.
UTW will be sorely missed should the group fully disperse after ar’s departure and I thank the whole team deeply for all of their releases. It is very much appreciated. I wish everybody luck in their endeavours.

@ar Well, there is always a chance that new people will join the group and hopefully, will release works of the same quality as the olden days. It would be sad, not being able to see [UTW] or any variants, with any new releases.

Problem is there aren’t really any new translators in fansubbing. This is what’s been killing it slowly.
So once the Epilogue is released, then a batch will be made?
Yeah, lots of groups are opting for using CR-script and running them through a TLC which is fine. From what I heard, CR-script has improved in quality over the years. Very few groups still do original translations.
You still need a translator to “tlc”, most groups don’t even bother with this.

@Pissed: I think a reality check is in order. This group has been doing a fantastic job over the years with the various series they’ve translated, subbed, encoded and distributed – free to us and out of their own idealism for the cause.
Now ar and someone else is the meagre rest of the group and is wrapping up things.
Imagine you’re the last staff in a downsized department, would you rather provide service when you’re yelled at or would you deserve praise for keeping the whole thing running in adverse circumstances? And that would be even though you’re paid for it!
Now, since UTW aren’t paid for it, I think they deserve our praise and optimistic patience even more.
So, Thank you UTW for the fantastic job so far! I am looking forward to the last episode whenever you get around to releasing it.
And good luck with your studies ar, it is great that this fan work has paved the road into what I hope will be a great career for you.
