Even before APEX, go onto the comments of the Unlimited Blade Works releases on here for example or a few other old fansub releases, even when UTW was the only real fansub source, that didn’t stop them from being vitriolic anyway.

I have no complaints about their work, in fact it’s the opposite. Like others, I don’t mind them taking their time rather than rushing it but if they’re doing this on purpose just to give the middle finger to trolls (and indirectly troll the other free fansubber), then yes, it is pathetic. I don’t mind if this were aimed at the trolls but think about the other free fansubber who waited for UTW before deciding to take on subbing the episode only to find out his efforts were wasted(again, assuming this was intentional).

If they are waiting for UTW and have to state it out, then that’s pretty much no different from encouraging people to get mad at UTW for being late, when those other sub groups could release faster regardless of UTW. It’s just a way to instigate hate that isn’t logical.
If they don’t have the balls to release anything until UTW because UTW is more well-known, then that’s also a load of bull. It’s like they sub to gain the most “customers” or something…even though they’re not paid. The more these rude people spam here, the more this whole “other fansubbers are not subbing because of UTW” thing sounds like a complete farce.

Just to clear it up, no we’re not doing this intentionally. We have just happened to release right after APEX. We release the episode whenever it’s ready to go, it’s simple as that.

APEX is just one person AFAIK(anon from /fgog). He only subbed a few episodes at first for some people who couldn’t wait for a faster release, he didn’t even want to continue subbing unless the episode got delayed. You seem to get the wrong idea here, whatever he’s doing has nothing to do with the rude remark/trolls here.

I’m Japanese, and yeah Caster said “Sayounara Rosye” meaning “Goodbye Roche.” I think the translator thought it was “Sayounara roshin” meaning “Goodbye core.”
At 14:27, shouldn’t the translation be “An autonomous Reality Marble” or something like that? It’s a pretty recognizable phrase (“koyuu kekkai”), so I was curious if there was a reason it was translated differently.
