We were SO ready to release this about two hours ago, but we discovered the OP/ED wasn’t shifted correctly we were just waiting for CoalGuys to release first.
The OP and ED have been updated according to the official lyrics. The previous episodes will also be updated when we release a batch torrent of the entire series when it ends.

    Thanks for the new episode!
Will you release patches for the corrections to the earlier episodes so we don’t have to redownload them all over again?

Nice release! One thing though, at 3:40 Takeshita says “I’ll while off the time with some trivial conversation” was that a direct translation or an error in adding too many english words.

    This is great thanks

  7. @Geese1: I know for sure episodes 1 and 2 are going to get entirely new encodes, so you’ll have to redownload those. Other than that, yes, I’ll provide a sort of patch pack that you can use to update each of the episodes to the final batch versions if they need them.
@cerkis: That would be my mistake for using the word “while” in an uncommon manner. The rest of the staff has just pointed out to me that they’ve never heard “while” being used like this; however, “while” can be used as a verb in English meaning to let something pass, such as time. You might’ve come across it being used like “I whiled away the cold winter nights” or in some similar manner.
In any case, it’s my fault for making use of obsolete English in an awkward rendering of the spoken Japanese. I’ve reworded and compressed the line in the script for the batch version as follows:
Dialogue: 0,0:03:40.59,0:03:44.95,Dialogue,,0000,0000,0000,,I’ll keep the conversation trivial, and then part with her at the right time.
It’s a little more localized, but it should make more sense this way. Sorry for the confusion.

Hey. Thanks a million for your great subs. One thing, though — the level-up signs are awfully hard to make out. Doesn’t matter whether I use Plex, Mplayer, Quicktime Player, or VLC (VLC is worst of all). Here’s an example:

I don’t know how these look on your machines, but somethin’ ain’t right. This was the case with previous episodes too. Maybe you could add a big black border to that text?
As for the “while” thing, yeah, no one says “while off”. “I’ll while away the time …” would work just fine. Nothing wrong with “while” as a verb, per se.

Sean: What version is your directvobsub? Are you using a mac or something?
It’s supposed to look like this:

I suppose I can add a border – to add an additional “compatibility” layer to the subs.

Sean: Try “the extended version”> http://mplayerosx.sttz.ch/ The build’s from february, which should be recent enough to handle drawing.

  11. Thanks, funny episode =)

@Bob64: I admit it, I’m a Mac user. I would love a border. More compatibility is always better. 🙂
@MLx: good call, rel13 does the job where rel12 didn’t. Too bad Plex fails.
