Wow, this is easily my favorite episode. So much epicness! Breast dive, raging lolis, Uiharu, Accelerator pulling a “Touma” (walking on girls changing/bathing and instead of closing door just stand and look), Kuroko, more Kuroko, dere Imoutos, cute biri biri, Aisa poking Touma…seriously, if Kanzaki or Saten would have somehow appeared in this episode my heart would have exploded, though Last Order raging at 10032 nearly did it.

Well, Raildex (Dexelgun?) is pretty mainstream in Japan, so if you’re looking for high-concept humor (or anything for that matter), you’re in the wrong place.
Also it’s based off of light novels that release every three months or so, so jokes that seem repeated too often in the anime are actually pretty spaced out in the LNs.

did you perhaps used some specific codec for Windows? Quicktime doesn’t open at all the mkv (everything was fine with the others episodes) and VLC after 4,5 seconds crashes. Am I the only one with this problem?

@gangler: yeah, I am aware about that cccp but -maybe I wasn’t clear, so sorry- I have no Windows. I have mac os x and Quicktime+perian (something similar to cccp) and/VLC never had this problem. ALso, the strange thing is that all the MKV from this release don’t have any problem, only this one. Well, I guess I have to wait for the AVI release. Thank you for the answer.

@Luca: While I won’t admit to knowing a solution to your problem I will note that even if all of them are stored as MKV it doesn’t mean they were all encoded in the same way. So it’s completely possible for some files to work fine and others to not work at all. Maybe the one who works on it can help you more.
Great episode, i like the new op as well, a big thanks for your big efforts Mazui-UTW, and i wish to point that two Misaka 10032’s lines (20:39,21:09) have a “Misaka” extra; the lines are for now how Last Order were speaking them.
@Leon-Gun: yeah, I know that MKV is just a container that can contain anything. BTW, I had a look to the mkv properties and there’s in effect one single difference: all the working MKV were created with [mkvmerge v3.4.0], while this last episode was created with [mkvmerge v3.0.0]. Well, I don’t know if that’s the real root of the problem, but that’s the only difference. ps. BTW, I have tried virtually every software available for mac, and none of them worked :/
Luca, try remuxing it with a newer version mkvmerge (google MKVToolnix). Just keep all the settings the same, but set the compression setting (under the Extra Options tab) to “None” for the audio and video tracks.

Anyways, if you’re playing your anime on an embedded system (ie. xbox360 or a TV like in Kushohea’s case) or prefer the smaller file size of the avi’s (ie. due to some really gay bandwidth cap) then I’m afraid you’re in the minority and 720p takes priority regarding the initial encode & release. I’m sure that, while __ar is busy encoding other shit, he hasn’t forgotten about your AVI version. Just wait patiently or transcode/re-encode the 720p video yourself.

Anyway, my machine actually can play HD, just not very well. Sometimes it lags and it heats up fast. And I do quite a lot with my computer, and it’s not even that old, at least by my standards (got it new two years ago). Cool story with those GPUs, but you specifically said:

So if you’re going to alter your story, mention that part first.

Unless you’re running a P4 and/or you have 256megs of RAM in that thing, you shouldn’t be struggling to play 720p at all. So it’s likely a software issue or, in your case, shitty/failing hardware (re: overheating).
@Mousee: How can I not know what I’m talking about? I’m not taking apart computers and analyzing the reasons why any of this shit is the way it is like you are. If I did, THEN I would not know what I was talking about. I’m just sayin’, there are people with computers that aren’t perfect and they’d prefer not to have to buy extra parts (or a full new machine) just to reliably watch foreign cartoons. Is that so hard to understand?
