So I decided to make a pic out of my post and put the pic on my post and make a pic of that post and put the pic in the post with the pic of the post so i have a pic of a pic with a post in a post.
…nvm I give up, they need a way to automate this.
Oh and btw the real post pic:

All right so being the last episode and all (only 11 wut) we have letters from the staffroom! [Insert applause]
I said applause dammit!
…Ugh. Weak. Anyway, off we go, tally ho.
Moshiburner (Translator):
While perusing over the winter season choices, I saw this image and something caught my attention, probably the art style and the detail. So I headed over here and saw even more gorgeousness. Well, though I didn’t get much of the artsy feeling in the actual airing (never figured out who that blonde girl was either) it was a work of art in its own little way imo. If for nothing else, I was able to enjoy it for giving me something to do and something pretty to look at every thursday (or friday, depending on where you are). I’m glad I chose it.
fnord (Editor):
When it emerged that I was going to be editing Fractale, I went and bought one of Azuma’s books. Azuma is the one who wrote the setting and the story and is also something of a scholar in Japan. While I don’t hold a great love for postmodern philosophy, his attempt at analyzing Japan’s pop culture through such a lens turns out rather productive precisely because Japan itself is somewhat postmodern. Fractale as a show was certainly not without its flaws, but I liked it nonetheless. There is a deeper message in Fractale the elaboration of which would go beyond the scope of this short snippet, so suffice it to say that if you’re interested in what Azuma might have had on his mind when he wrote the story, his book should make it more obvious. I hope you enjoyed the show!
commander`A (Timer): …
Kusion (Timer): I don’t watch this show, and I’ve only timed it 2 or 3 times, but the protagonist sounds like a female. The voice actress of this protagonist reminds me of a certain voice actress, but I cannot put my finger on which person this might be. I am also too lazy to search it up.
ar (Encoder/Typesetter/Kara): Was quite a cool show, best typesetting job ever~ NESSA GA SUKI~
Raze (Editor/QC): Fractale was a pretty fun (and short) ride. Nessa is adorable.
Batches in a day or two.

Strange, I expected more from the ending, but I feel very satisfied anyway? So strange… Maybe it’s the effect of looking at that deeply significant seagull shot…
Anyway, let us all give the staffs of UTW a round of applause.

Thanks for the hard work, great series! Though I don’t really get it…Phryne created Fractale or something…?

  9. @Ashitaka
I think Phryne’s father created the Fractale
Thanks for the new release, and a big thanks overall for taking on this project. I’ve really enjoyed it (moreso than I thought I would).

Thks for subbing another great series, you sure know how to pick them!
Also this was pretty much the perfect ending! which are rather rare, total satisfaction here!!
thks again! shame on the lack of spring season subs 😛

  12. This will be probably the second-best ending for a season this series, the best will most likely be Madoka. I felt quite fulfilled too after watching the last episode, the feeling of being moved resides thereafter. The ending definitely didn’t let me down!

This is a vastly under-appreciated gem. Every episode has been magnificent from start to finish, and it’s such a shame it has to end with only 11 episodes to its name. In my books this has been the best show this season (tied only with Gosick). It had everything, including the perfect ending. Thank you for picking up this show.

  15. Thanks a lot guys! I loved that you guys did this show, even if it didn’t meet all expectations it was still a nice little series.

Wonderful, wonderful anime. It really surprised me when I started watching it how overall interesting it was to watch. Thank you all so much for picking it up, the ending… The ending overall left me satisfied, which is rare when it comes to anime, I always expect more or something, but this show did a wonderful job all the way till the end.
I can honestly say I’m very happy to have had the chance to see this.
Thanks again, UTW and Staff. Thank you all in Japan who made this show exist as well.

Awesome. This was nice. It didn’t blow my mind, but I enjoyed it thourougly.
Also, the first thing I notice was Clain’s voice. I don’t remember which now, but I’m certain it’s one of the girls from sora no woto. I too, am too lazy to search it up.

Great ending! Great anime! Great fansub group! Thanks UTW! I’m very glad to have been able to see this!

Thanks for the work on the show, but I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t disappointed, since this had great potential.
Often lackluster animation with one episode obviously having a complete different animation team working on it and too many clichees (Phryne running away, certain characters dying etc.). It really showed that 11 eps. weren’t enough to tell the full story.

  26. Nessa is my new waifu.
Thank you for y’alls time as always.

  27. Wezzman on April 2, 2011 at 9:27 pm said:

    Clain’s seiyu is Yuu Kobayashi.
She also did Kyoka “Mademoiselle” Kanejou from B Gata H Kei, Naruko Yokoshima from Seitokai Yakuindomo, and Rio Kazumiya from Sora no Woto.

Thanks a lot for your hard work!
I really appreciate you guys seeing shows all the way through, and not dropping them after a few boring episodes like other groups do. This turned out to be a gem of a show, albeit short and probably could’ve probably gone a full 24 episodes.

  30. Eben on April 3, 2011 at 7:18 pm said:

Yeah. I shouldn’t have gone on an anime watching spree. I finished this all in one day and I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I had taken some time with it. Isn’t Nessa’s seiyuu the same one that did Kanade from Angel Beats? She pulled out her Kanade/Kuroneko voice for the “little sister Phryne” lmao xD… I thought the message was pretty clear in the anime alone, but maybe I got the wrong message.
    Thanks for subbing this!

  31. Thanks a lot for the effort, what about the v2s and the batch? It’s been six days, you know…

    Where are our batches? 🙁
