It’s animal appreciation week!  Everyone is invited!
The focus is on everyone’s favorite pet food-thieving idol, Hibikin.  Apart from a brief emohaya foreshadow at the start (which we pretty much ruined for you a few weeks back), the other idols make hardly any appearances.
I made use of a cute animal speaking to take liberties with translation.  Sorry to those of you who don’t get the reference.

    22:06: “HIbiki-chan” –> “Hibiki-chan”
24:02: “Yukiho-san” –> “Yukiho”, as the audio says so.
Otherwise, excellent release as usual. Keep up the great work. 🙂

  6. Thanks very much as always d\(^-^)/

  9. lol! I noticed the Finding Nemo reference in the subs but didn’t know whether it was on purpose or not. Nice one, dudes.

  10. Where was this reference? I didn’t catch it.
Also, this ep was filled with QUALITY. Little disappointing since Hibiki’s my fav.

I wonder, is anyone really able to live with a gator as a pet?!
Snakes isn’t unheard of, but gators…

  12. Leon-Gun on October 22, 2011 at 1:24 am said:

@leo: I’ve seen some people on tv who do have them but, it’s rather unheard of and not really encouraged as gators are not exactly good pets or easy to handle.

  13. <3 Hibiki

  14. @leo@uhw & leon-gun – actually, the issue was brought up in the manga/anime, これが私の御主人様 (He Is My Master). as you may recall, the entire reason izumi and mitsuki leave home is that mitsuki was nearly injured by the gators she had raised as pets since they were newly hatched. their parents, realizing the danger, have the parent gators put down and forbid mitsuki to keep any more.
dead set on raising pochi (hatchling of the two gators that nearly hurt her), mitsuki leaves home. izumi goes with her to ensure her safety, at which point they’re picked up by yoshitaka, who’s hiring live-in maids.

  15. Yippie… thanks 🙂

  16. It’s Hibikin’s episode and those faggots from Jupiter (almost)ruined it. I kinda wished that Hibikin’s crocodile would eat those faggots, LOL.

  17. SupraGuy on October 22, 2011 at 5:29 pm said:

@potte: They’re pretty careful to portray Jupiter as not being the bad guys, they’re being deceived by Kuroi.
If Hibiki has a habit of stealing her pet’s food, let’s hope that she doesn’t do that to the gator. Methinks that would end up being unhealthy. (Mind you, she still has the pig, and the rabbit, not to mention the cat, dog and hamster, whom the Gator should all see as “food”. Must be very well trained.
    And yeah. Hibiki <3

would yayoi’s line “It’s like he’s trying to speak to us, i know it.” either be a reference to Hoodwinked or nemo? cant remember which one.
