Here’s the Fate/Zero season 2 batch, which rounds up the series! You can grab the batch for season 1 HERE.
Episodes 14, 15, 17, and 18 have been v2’d for the odd tweak here and there, the notable fixes being “Intensive Einäscherung” in ep15 and correcting “Church” to “Association” in ep17. Episode 23 has been v2’d with a new encode, sourced from a channel that aired the series a week later but with much better video.
That concludes the Fate/Zero TV project! We’ll be right on the Blurays when they come out.
NB: The XviD Batch is identical to the regular releases. We will NOT reencode the XviD releases to include the batch changes.

That depends if you consider the end of Fate/stay night, Fate/Zero or Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. And for Fate/stay night, it depends on the ending you chose in the VN (UBW’s good end or not ?)
Will you be giving a patch for the fixes? cause downloading all those versions again will be difficult for slow connection internet users like me @_@

We won’t, but there’s always someone among the fanbase who’s kind enough to make them for everyone to use. Give it a day or two.

erm…just a little thing i’ve noticed through the season.
when Kotomine says something about “…cup overflowing”, I think the right translation when you take into account the fact he’s a priest should be “my cup runneth over.”

thanks for everything but next time please DO release official patches. If you don’t, people will release for instance separated patches without even the xdelta3.exe, and we have to go find it, figure out how it works (it doesn’t even show the command line help, you have to figure that is “–help” option) then see that the “apply patch” example syntax doesn’t work, and wait for somoene to finally release a working .bat file (checking inside, it was a different syntax in the end).
Not everyone is experienced like you, most of us aren’t.
Why should we release patches, you say. Well, why you make chapters if people can just move the play cursor where they want ? Because it’s FUKKEN CONVENIENT to have chapters. It’s the same for patches, they cost you a couple of minutes and save us troubles.
If you want to stay at the top of the funsubbing world, like you do now, you should care for these details …

I don’t run Windows so why would I include xdelta3.exe?
Also, considering it was some time between the batch release and the patches maybe someone already downloaded a few episodes so they don’t need to patch all the files?
Not to mention just as I made the patch files someone else made a .zip with the .bat and .exe for the lazies like you that can’t be bothered to install xdelta on your system so you don’t need the executable included with every patch release.

Yeah sure, when its done. At the current speed it won’t be anytime soonish, because that’s just how peoples schedules are at the moment. It’ll be out when its out, and no sooner.

Oh well. I was underwhelmed with episode 25, but other than that, Fate/Zero is definitely one to re-watch again, especially the BD episodes for the 1st season.

Speaking of “Intensive Einäscherung”.. if you wouldn’t sub this, I would not be able to understand this as a german native speaker. I do understand more of the japanese sentences than this german phrases often added as spells. First of all most of them doesn’t make sense (the way they put them together) and second, the pronunciation is awful. It’s the same with the english words in the japanese language, but at least you’re able to understand them ._.
UTW, I think it’s about time that you put an icon for your website. The icon I’m talking about is the one at the tab next to the name of the website you are on. GotWoot actually has one and I would love to see UTW’s icon so that when I look at my bookmarks I would see all of the Fansub Websites that I bookmarked have images on them so that they would look good. Consider it as a “2012 appearance change”.
On a site note, I don’t know if it’s intended but the site banner looks misaligned/bad on my 1080p screen + firefox set-up.
@Arukami same here. well some anime actually pulled off good german (like Nanoha, all the belkan weapons speak good german. then again, they hired native speakers for the german belkan devices and the english mid-chidla devices.). well, the grammar is usually still bad though.. and the Name of Irisviel’s wirebird Spell is especially cringeworthy, sicne it 1. doesnt make sens ein context and 2. they coudltn even be bothered to check that “Shape” is not a german word…
btw, will you guys release the Nisemonogatari BD’s anywhere soon, ro, dunno, are you waiting for them to be complete and release them all at once then? since half the series is out on BD already

Yea, these BDs are available since September or something. Are you going to release Fate as a BD release or waiting for it is not worth anything?

They did, in the Release FAQ: Just Episode 25 and the final Einzbern special left to finish off now, but Christmas/New Year break is over for Raze and he’s back in Med School. It will definitely be released before February.

Just curious, why didn’t you use Commie’s subs for the seoncd track? IIRC they used the retail subs as their base, so they’d probably be better quality, wouldn’t they?
