  1. Thank you very much!

  2. Yes! More adolescent craziness! Thank you ver much for your hard work UTW^^.
    By the way, is it weird that I too consider myself to be a Dark Flame Master? Actually, my pen drive is called “Dark Flame”. I’m nearly 30 years old and still have Chuunibyou. SCORE!

    Thanks! This season is flooded with so many good anime.
    @VGuy: It’s not weird. It’s just that the Chuunibyou force is strong in you!

    I don’t know whether or not I anticipate more the actual episode release or the small almost ballad-like poems that fotc supplies us with. Are you writing them as they come or is there a source?
    btw, epic release is always epic. Thank you very much for this awesome release! >=D

  7. Thanks for the new episode!

  15. What does the first poster say, it was never translated

  16. Why don’t you release two versions next time, one with “eighth-grader syndrome” and one with chuunibyou and see which one gets more downloads.

  17. Looks like subs are missing from the banner around 8 minutes.

    Sorry to go off topic guys, it’s something concerning one of your IRC XDCC bots.
    When possible, I usually download via your IRC bots as they’re actually so much faster than BitTorrent sometimes, as it’s not feasible for me to use Bit Torrent where I live, where many tenants share the same internet router and thus is prone to getting its bandwidth bogged down by torrent seeding uploads.
    Anyway, something seems to be wrong with your [UTW]Belle bot, which has the episode for now. I tested downloading an older release (SAO 15) via Belle, but it still can’t connect. I know it was still working when I downloaded SAO 15 a few days ago. I also tried with other bots and they seem to be okay, but as of writing this post, only Belle has Chuunibyou episode 3.
    So for now I’ll have to make do with DDL, which is vulnerable to my internet router being disconnected and starting from scratch. It’s either that or Bit Torrent, which I’ve already explained is unfeasible for where I live.

    I still think these girls have been watching too much Nanoha. So now Vita and Graf Eisen have shown up to keep the Administration Bureau in check.

  21. @Rat
    What would actually be really easy. They could just have a second subtitle track which would only take seconds to do. The only problem is that they would actually have acknowledge that “eighth-grader syndrome” isn’t a flawless translation, and if Rori’s “Don’t like it? Change it yourself” attitude is anything to go by, that is unlikely.

    A perfect episode beside one little error:
    11:05 – {This exercise is called “log bridge.”} => {This exercise is called “log bridge”.} AFAIK.
    I’m looking forward to the next release.

    All these new shows is all good and dandy for a lot of people, I’m sure, but, when can I expect those Fate/Zero S2 BD’s?…

  31. red CODE on October 18, 2012 at 6:03 pm said:

    @MasterMeNL
    You should check your grammar book.
    There is nothing wrong with “log bridge.” The dot is used correctly.
    On topic, this episode is not as funny as the other two. Too little Yuuta smacking/hitting Rikka scenes.

  32. MasterMeNL, your correction is actually incorrect by North American standards for publishing. ^_^; You’re supposed to place the period inside the quotation marks even in a situation like the one you’ve described. The fact that so many North American people on the Internet get it wrong doesn’t make it any more grammatically correct than it does when people say “could of” instead of “could’ve.”
    .
    You can read more about this by googling for quotation marks and punctuation or by checking out Wikipedia. (Go to their article titled “Quotation mark” and then click down to the subsection titled “Punctuation” within the parent section “Typographical considerations.”) Quoting the relevant bit for you here, “With regard to quotation marks adjacent to periods and commas, there are two styles of punctuation in widespread use. While these two styles are most commonly referred to as “American” and “British” and some style sheets provide no other names, some American writers and organizations use the “British” style and vice versa. Both systems have the same rules regarding question marks, exclamation points, colons and semicolons. They differ on the treatment of periods and commas.” It turns out that the English do it one way while the Americans and Canadians do it another way. So if you’re English, your correction stands. If you’re American, it still stands … but only in the UK. =P As for whether UTW wishes to follow British or American conventions, we’ll just have to see. But I don’t think it really makes a big difference. ^^;

  33. @Rokudaime
    When you invent 36 hours days or Raze finds time to work on them. Whichever comes first.

  34. Kindly rectify “Did you heart skip a beat?” sub. I forgot the exact time frame but atleast I remember the dialogue x3

  35. For those asking about it, the sign at (somewhere around) 8:40 in should read something like “Oriental Magic Napping Society” (in keeping with the initial translation). After Tsuyuri gave Rikka the idea, she just added 昼寝 to the recruitment poster. So 極東魔術結社 “Oriental Magic Society” -> 極東魔術昼寝結社 “Oriental Magic Napping Society”.
    Dunno why it wasn’t TS’d in the first place.

  36. silvermoon on October 19, 2012 at 3:38 am said:

    thanks for the episode.
    however, it looks like you missed typesetting the banners, especially around 8:41, as boobv and m mentioned.

    @red CODE
    @Tal
    I never thought that would actually differ between languages.
    Playing the dot at the end makes more sense if I think about it logically, but it might be vice-versa for you guys.
    It seems I’ve learned something stupid about languages again, I’ll remember it. 😉

  38. 15:43 > the word “the” is consecutively written.

  39. MasterMeNL on October 19, 2012 at 6:58 am said:

    ^ “Playing”… seriously? How did that even get there, it should be “Putting” if you didn’t see that yet.
    Addition: It’s pretty annoying though. I prefer American English and I taught myself most of it but at college we learn British English even though American English is obviously the world standard. Stupid education is stupid.

  40. might as well add
    21:09 > Did you heart skip a beat? => your heart…

  41. 14:18 is that supposed to “She is my servant.” ???? not He

  42. @Kitty
    I already said that haha. Thanks for mentioning the time frame tho.
