The time has come for me to display my Russian pride.

Nicovideo for more Russian pride. Unfortunately, the WordPress people do not have Russian technical superiority. Nicovideo is not supported as an embed. You’ll have to log in.

  1. Russian Pride, ha ha ha.
Your embed video/song doesn’t match the lyrics you published. And it’s VERY important difference. Nothing to be proud of.
    Meh.

  2. Komrade Kudryavka’s Era has come!
Now how in the world are they going to fit in her route…? Will Mio be the roommate or will it Kanata?
    Dokidoki Dokidoki!

  3. Just noticed the episode title saying, “Let’s Looking for Roomates!”
Isn’t supposed to be, “Let’s Look for Roomates!”?
Ah, scratch that… I just read the title in plain hiragana and it actually does pronounce “Rettsu, Rukkingu Fou Ruumumeito nano desu!”

  4. The USSR anthem is IMO still the most awesome anthem ever. It almost tears me up and makes me want to proudly sing along. And I’m not even russian…
I wish my country had an anthem as awesome as that :<

  5. Fix:
    Replace:
    Дружбы народов надёжный
    With:
    Дружбы народов надёжный оплот!
    ^_^
    @rds:
One word are missing. Why so serious?

  6. “Edit: Copied the wrong Youtube URL. Fixed.”
I wonder what the last video was about, lol (^o^). That must have been awkward…
    Thank You!

  7. And here I thought this is commiesubs for a moment…
But the USSR anthem truly is awesome.
None like our shitty German anthem ._.
And even that shitty anthem you can’t sing without getting weird looks.

  8. Lol`d.
Though bolsheviks, like any russian goverment, are bastards and villains.
Fuck, 24th November we had mourning day because of bolsheviks evil deeds.
Geez, what a timing you’ve got.
Liked LB very much. Thank you~
    Looking forward to next episode!

one word? You don’t know what you are talking about.
in the original post the lyrics were 1940-ish (ie Stalin’s version), but the actual song was of Brezhnev’s (1970-ish) version.
The Brezhnev’s version dropped Stalin and The Red Army from the lyrics, kept Lenin, and added the Communism and leadership of the Communist Party.
Yes! In the Stalin version the Communism wasn’t even mentioned!

  10. I really loved that rendition of Kud’s theme song that Kurugaya was playing. Piano has some weird magic that can change the feel of a song entirely. What was originally a happy and delightful song, the piano version made it seem lonely and somewhat melancholic.
    Another good episode as usual.

  11. I didn’t like the previous episode, how the studio forcibly put Kudo in the marbles scene, and made Riki say “don’t have time”… I don’t recall Riki ignoring Kudo ever; it made him look to behave like the others… JC Staff idiots, they draw badly enough. Hope this doesn’t derail.
Kudo’s story is a little strong for a plain “friendship”, can’t imagine how this will turn out in the anime (unless they go for the bad ending). But the anime trailer shows her dramatic scene, darkened.., so, good ending.
    On a side note, i always overshoot Rin in that “launch to the 3rd floor” mini game, she somehow grabs the window when falling down ^^;;;;
Hmm the anime actually shows the responses of all the candidates when asking for a room mate, the game allows only 1 (per play), with Kurugaya’s being the best of course 🙂

  12. As a Ukrainian… fuck that noise. Americans have no idea what the USSR was really like. My grandparents lived through the Ukrainian famine. When I hear that song all I hear is the millions of people that died because of the USSR.

  13. @Navitron
You have no idea what USSR was really like either. My grandparents lived through Leningrad blockade. Go fuck youself hohol.

  14. As a member of a persecuted ethnicity in the uSSr I agree with Navitron: FUCK THIS! Here something funny:
    Союз нерушимый попал под машину
    Свалилась в канаву великая Русь.
    @randomcommie
Big fucking deal, mine did too and that doesn’t elicit any warm feelings for this empire of evil in me (Teagan was RIGHT!!).

  15. anime fans, and nobody said nothing about a matryoshka :\ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matroska
found an interesting rock remix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ul_qm3Ym8-k
to @Navitron: – I can say the opposite, especially in WWII. Let’s talk about today’s repressions of Russians in your country. Treachery is like a fix for them. Some zombified fascist. Go suck somebody else’s oil pipes.
    – Hope my government closes the border with yours. I say Ukraine is short for “U Kraya (Rossii) [On the edge of Russia]”.

  16. Even the way he acts, he’s still much smarter than any puppet president in the west. Keep dividing, no matter where you live, this is an example of what awaits you: http://snipurl.com/25ugnpv . Don’t tell me school didn’t teach you what happened later?
ps.Go to ОУН & УПА. Feel yourself like home.
