I’m extremely tired right now (it’s like 5 AM here) so please enjoy yadayada.
That pool of surviving students sure is getting small.

*smiles; continues to enjoy this fiction*
A sad loss; there was, however, admittedly some foreshadowing (emotionally speaking).
If ‘cooperation’ would have been valid, it almost completely undermines the effectiveness of that rule… in the first place, one can only vote for one person, so… hm. Did not consider the possibility that that line of reasoning could work.
The dying message can just be barely excused with the reasoning that, remembering the time when they all met each other, ‘that’ name was closer to mind…
As the pool shrinks, I’m quite interested in seeing what happens to the scion and murderer. I was quite amused recently when they were always alone together, with the murderer clearly obsessed with the scion; it feels as though one day everyone’s going to find him crucified with scissors and say “Well, OBVIOUSLY.”, the easiest case of them all. Though someone could also try to set things up to make them draw that conclusion…

  9. This show is getting worse with each passing episode…
Did they SERIOUSLY debate over whether the fat otaku was still alive between being assaulted in the medical faculty and freaking SAYING the name of his murderer?
    – “We heard Monokuma’s announcement. Therefore he was dead already”.
No shit, Sherlock? He also just happened to come back to life, to tell us the name of his killer, then die peacefully again, followed by another one of Monokuma’s announcements. Logic?
    – “No wait, his glasses were dirty before and clean afterwards, that’s proof that he was alive in between.”
    WTF, THAT’S their argument???
Not to mention I knew Celes was the murderer the moment she pretended to be attacked.
Also, after everything that’s happened, I wonder why nobody has ever tried to kill Naegi and Kirigiri, since they’ve been the most valuable investigators thus far. It’s like the killers are begging Monokuma to punish them.

  10. … and with “Nobody has ever tried to kill Naegi and Kirigiri”, I meant Celes.
She’s the first to have ever planned out a murder, since the previous two murders were purely on the spur of the moment. So why did she choose two of the most stupid in class, rather than Naegi and Kirigiri whose chance at uncovering her deeds are much higher than anybody else’s?

  11. Dialogue: 9,0:16:47.61,0:16:49.53,Default,,0,0,0,,That’s right. It was me.
You don’t think the sophisticated Celes would have said the more correct “It was I”? Use of the nominative case after copulas can sound too awkward to be worth it, but “Yes, it is I!” is a classic villain phrase; I don’t think it would be out of place here at all.

  12. Well… So much for this ep. A gamble is a gamble by any means… Don’t you agree…?
    Anyways… Can’t wait for next ep. 😀
