This is more a matter of I honestly prefer using it. If it really bothers enough people though I’ll consider changing it to just Kujo (or maybe Kujou). I even had to spend 2 hours drawing the custom character to use it (the font didn’t have it like most fonts don’t) but if you want to post scripts with changes for now I won’t be against it.

Well I decided to go with the names from gosick.tv , which I consider an official source. But in the case of Victorica, every source says it’s Victorica except Tokyopop US, even Tokyopop DE spells it Victorica. So I’d say it’s Victorica without a doubt, especially considering the Drama CD spells it that way too.

People are still hung up on the Victorique/Victorica deal? Come on, it always sounded like Victorica to me every time Kujo says it. Either that or I fail at pronouncing Victorique. I think people keep wanting it to be Victorique because they claim the light novel named her that. The fact Static Subs took the Victorique side of the debate is sure to spark more fuel to the argument due to how many fans they have.
Are you going to be doing Blu-Rays of this? =P

Great job as usual. The speed and quality is wonderful.
However, one things bugs me which I hope your group will fix with patch or BD is the word “World War.” Back then, before World War II, World War I was refereed as the Great War. My Japanese skill is terrible, so I don’t know if it is a mistake on the author/studio part or not. If it is, then, I wouldn’t think you would need to change it.
Similar thought with the Victorique/Victorica deal. If it is Victorique in the book, stick to that and stay faithful to the source material.

@Wawa: Please no need to get all mad. People out there have been misled both by the american translation and the wikipedia entry. It wouldn’t be the first time an official translation fucks up names. If the official site of the tv series lists her as Victorica then that’s fine by me.

Victorica is the name used in all the official stuff.
People are upset because the setting for Gosick is French. Therefore it should have been Victorique instead of Victorica.
Doesn’t matter too much to me though.

Oh, and guys, I am fine with the way Kujou is written at the moment so don’t change it. It’s not even incorrect and like someone else said it looks more classy, if that’s the word. I’m quite glad with the way you guys have made the changes and fixed script mistakes and ensure everything is as it should.

Regarding the ending, maybe it’s totally wrong, but it really seems to me that the first line is “Loneliness, fighting that again”, that also makes more sense to me, especially followed by “It seems to be like it never ends” 🙂
