On behalf of UTW, I present to you our first new show of Spring 2011: Aria the Scarlet Ammo! It may be yet another generic Rie loli show, but it is still enjoyable nonetheless.
There is one Engrishy-sounding line in the ED that stumped all of us, so we left it blank (it’s the penultimate line). If you guys have any suggestions as to what it could be, we’d love to hear them.

Suppose Sentai picked this up, are you going to drop this? Sorry if I had to ask this. There is a possibility that this show would be picked up by Sentai, given that it is a TBS anime (like Yumekui Merry).
I think the ED is trying to say “Want to be the fighter” which sort of fits with the last ,”With camellia eyes.” Very much Engrish though so it could be anything.
Oh wait. I continued reading a bit in the LN, and it seems he’s now a butler.
I love me some Certain Magical Melancholy of Shakugan no Toradora no Gotoku. I’m sure I’ll be able to fit a “no Tsukaima” in there sooner or later. I’m thinking of getting rid of the “Melancholy of” too.

I’m thinking that line is probably a mix of Eng/JP. I’m pretty sure the last word of that line is the English word: ‘final’. The begin part of that line is probably Japanese and since I don’t know JPese I can only give you my guess about that…
no.1 – if only the ‘final’ is English then the line is – ‘wabibito final’
no.2 – if more than the ‘final’ are English then – ‘wabi be the final’

on an unrelated note, is it just me or r u guys picking animes that the hibernating group Eclipse would have picked if they were still subbing? they subbed Index first season and Shana, u guys subbed Index 2 and are subbing Aria (another Rie anime). Im starting to suspect u two are collaborating.

My first guess of the translation of the English: ‘Wannabe the final;’ after hearing the ‘hajimete ni,’ I think this makes sense since this sounds kind of a like a ‘progressive’ sort of statement… Though, the singer also says something like ‘mamoritai’ so, my second guess would be that she may have some reason to murmur ‘Wannabe the fighter.’ Yet, this second assumption is probably not correct because her enunciation of the words that end/have ‘t-sounds’ are different from this… But, as she is trying to drag her voice for the line, it may have been slurred off entirely. As for my third guess, I’d say: ‘Wannabe the flyer,’ so that she can be the one that leads them to their destiny or something figurative like that.
That’s my two cents. Good work so far.

My 2 cents: the lyrics, apparently talks about the feeling of used to being alone, she’s used to saying goodbye(maybe clients?); hence when someone comes and tells the singer that he will protect her, because of those words, she hopes it will be different, she’s been waiting for someone to release her of a cruel fate. She wants it to be the final time she separates from someone. Hence, the line sounds like “want it to be the final”
What I dont get is how it flows into the last line though…
