arEdit: Unfortunately this isn’t really possible since both Raze and I have commitments on weekends, so it can’t be done much faster than it is I’m afraid. The earliest we’d be able to get it out on a good week is ~18-24hrs after airing. Most other weeks around ~36-48hrs, depending on when time is available to work on it.

gg’s subs are great because they absolutely do not allow you to take the show at all seriously. Over half of my enjoyment is from the subs, and I would have dropped Aria long ago if I were watching it for its own merits.
Love UTW and all since they do a great job, it’s just that Aria isn’t worth doing a good job. Watch Lotte if you need your pedofix.

anybody has any lag issues right after the titles?, such as at 2:05 where it lags for a few seconds, and at the last 2-3 seconds of the episode right after the preview title screen.
I’m switching to UTW for subs now. GG this time totally pissed me off! with their lack of professionalism. That being said, GG subs are still one of the best out there.

I had the same lagg issues here at the start of the ep and end. Maybe it’s depending on which codec people are using.

This episode was indeed a test on my common sense that I don’t even know where to begin. XD
But Riko’s Strip Parachute (TM) definitely takes the cake. LOL
The white blots censoring Aria’s close-up bra shots were really distracting, but if they wanted to censor that, then they ought to blot out Aria’s other bra shots as well (from distance), as well as Riko’s Strip Parachute (TM) whole figure lingerie shot.
It’s as though there’s no single standard whatsoever when it comes to their censoring. Or perhaps they deem Aria and her lolilicious flat chest as “loli” and thus falls under the recent draconian “loli” manga/anime ban whereas Riko isn’t. We’ll soon find out if Kinji’s other classmates, like Shirayuki, get the same treatment whenever they strip down for the usual service scenes.

There were some censoring in ep 1 & 2 TBS airing. Were these present in other channels as well?
I tried the video on another computer (i7-860) using CCCP (2010-10-10)(ffdshow-mt) and I see the lag as described. Tried ffdshow-DXVA and there was no lag, but the english subs at the title screen (2:05) did not have the red outline either. VLC works fine, switching the subs off works fine too. Some strange interaction with the softsubs, ffdshow-mt and vsfilter is causing this problem.
I’m using CCCP+coreavc and any subs that use a big font (such as title screens) tend to cause lag.
