Things sure got a lot more interesting with this episode. We’re treated to a bit of backstory, some detective work and revelations, and more delicious Alice.
While QCing this episode, I noticed an interesting bit of kanji play going on with the names of two characters:
[spoiler]One of the ways to write Yoshiki (the guy who owns that sewing shop) is ??. Incidentally, when you reverse the characters, you get ??, which is read Hison…[/spoiler]

This is just my hypothesis, but …..
[spoiler]The guy who owns sewing shop might be Hison. The money the Fourth got is for buying that sewing shop for her and surgery for her face. Although I wonder, that shop owner breast and voice does not look like woman.[/spoiler]
What I still can’t understand is the motive behind that group who stabbed Hison and Fourth.

It’s like Captain Obvious raped the whole episode. Will be very disappointing if what everyone thinks turns out to be true.

[spoiler]Hison/Yoshiki might just be a tranny? What better way to completely cover up someone’s existence than with a sex change? Most people wouldn’t guess it unless there were blatant hints, so it would make sense if hiding her/him was the ultimate goal.[/spoiler]
Unfortunately for us watching.
The hints are constantly smacking us in the face. Like I said above. If it isn’t a red herring it will be like… oh well, meh *shrugs*.
Actually, I think it would’ve at least expected them not to be so obvious. Like, not have the suspected individual hold his belly while giving meaningful looks and talking of old injuries. Can’t they just leave it as a slight physical discomfort (noticed by the perceptive viewer) without having the “it hurts here because of this !” part?
Maybe a wrong section to ask, but will UTW take on Fate/Zero?

I’d say it’s like one of the Black Jack’s cases
[spoiler]A woman got cancer in her uterus which prompt him to remove all of the organ. With less female hormone due to absence of uterus, she became manlier. Hison got stapped because she’s pregnant so I guess the knife was meant to kill her baby and damage her uretus in the process.[/spoiler]
not like u need more clue, but yoshiki has a wound from “a while ago” at “his” abdoment….. right where hison was stabbed. Sorry dont know how to do that show hide thingy. 🙂
