  1. holy shit!! You got it out within 12 hours of airing. There must be some apocalyptic eclipse going on. ๐Ÿ˜‰
    Thanks for the episode. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. @Cirris: Well there was a total solar eclipse over Tokyo earlier this morning, so it’s only natural. =D

  3. I’m a pretty big fan of the manga, so I’m probably way too biased but here’s what I think: I don’t get what people are so excited about the development in this chapter. The manga does a much much better job at it.
now, that’s pretty obvious. the manga doesn’t have to cram all that content in 12 measly chapters. and it’s not like I don’t appreciate the work they’ve gone thru to animate this; I specially like the animation last week.
If anything, what I’m trying to say is: those of you who like this anime, but haven’t taken a look at the manga, give it a read. It will blow your mind.
and as usual, thanks for the episode.

  4. As a psychology minor, massive props for calling it “dissociate identity disorder” instead of the more colloquial “multiple personality disorder”.

  5. Agreed. Well done tl on defining it as dissociative identity disorder. In any case, damn this was a holy shit episode.

  6. Thanks a lot for all your hard work with subbing the shows!
Oh, yeah. About the poll, I think I want to recast my vote. I dunno, something about this ep made me reconsider who should get it. ๐Ÿ˜€

  7. Thanks for taking on this project. Now we know you’re not subbing for a mensa show-and-tell but at 10:40 (using MPC) Kirie uses ใƒ”ใ‚จใƒญ (‘Pierrot’, fr.) to sum up Yuuko’s persona. It may roughly translate as clown but subtly it’s also one who spends time on stage pinning for the love of someone he can’t have. Too bad you couldn’t have the line read ‘She’s like a Pierrot’ (which is how I archived it) ^ ^
BTW sounds to me like Kirie uses the old expression ใŸใ˜ใ‚…ใ†ใ˜ใ‚“ใ‹ใ at 12:03 which means ‘split personality’ and not the modern technical phrase DID (dissociative identity disorder) so why not stick with the original?

  8. Thanks, UTW…
Anyway, isn’t Yuuko supposed to be much taller than Teiichi? I often see inconsistency in Yuuko’s height compared to other characters’.

  9. @konoame
Yeah, if I remember right, Teiichi is about 5 ft tall because he is 12. Meanwhile, Yuuko is a delicious 5 ft 6 in.

  10. sprayed out the water i was drinking when she suddenly appeared wearing gym clothes… then i got a jolt when they showed the endcard after all that tension build up at the end, lol. this was a very good ep indeed

  11. Great episode! Moral of this episode: “It’s okay to push someone down a flight of stairs as long as you pretend not to know that person anymore”. I’m pretty sure Socrates said that…

  12. I like that song in the beginning ๐Ÿ˜€ does anyone know, if it is some kind of children song or is it just random BS that anime came up with?

  13. Thanks VERY much for the SD guys. You quality is just way beyond everyone else.
As far as what Ichigo said at May 21, 2012 – 5:31 pm. I think using clown was right but maybe it should have been “sad clown”. I would agree with using Split Personalty though. The DID just sounds odd and way too technical for a high school.

  14. I think there is an error @ 3:36.
The spirit/ghost talking to Kirie said “hito wa kawaranai” –> “Humans/People never change”, right, so why translate it “We never change”?

  15. I hated the previous episode, i hope this one puts on a more realistic story instead of retarded highschooler’s that believe anything they are told even though no one has died and then fall into mass hysteria for the sake of advancing the ridiculous plot further.
